From Geoff Grammer of the ABQ Trib:
"That reality, however, is the opener at CSU and for that matter even the Oct. 31 game against San Jose State scheduled to be played without fans in Albuquerque are in serious jeopardy as the record-setting week of new COVID-19 cases in New Mexico has dropped the program, through no fault of its own, out of compliance with the written guidelines set forth by state health officials."

¡Hey, Los Lobos!  Pls tell us this isn't the & y'all will show-up Saturday.  :-(

We haven’t heard a definitive yes or no from anyone here yet. And, as was stated on another thread here, wht are the MWC protocols for cancellation of games due to covid cases? If the MWC itself can’t or won’t step in, and say yes or no, and leaves it up to our governor... it'll be a no.

Is there a threshold set from the Mountain West Conference ruling body, for canceling football games due to COVID-19 poz testing… Does anyone know the answer to that yet?
1. What is the minimum # of bodies a team has to have, in order to play?

2. How many days to show no covid cases, prior to teams playing a game... for the home and the traveling team?

YES, it is was & YES it is.

Do you have any more current info?

Not looking good buddy. Her restrictions are pretty set in stone. Our game may be the first casualty of the MWC.

Id like to find out how the bubble got busted though. The team and the coaches were sailing along, zero covid cases through sept and early October, then all of a sudden, 9 cases?

coach G. Said that he had asked his players to keep to themselves and not attend parties or gatherings outside of their bubble ... someone broke out, or broke in!

Thx for the update bud, even though the news is bad.

I'm dying down here in Baja Calif, in a Méxican CV-19 Bubble.  Una diversión de-4-horas en Sabado con los Lobos would have been a nice way to end-the-wk.  OH WELL...what are you going to do ¿verdad?

The new test is notorious for false positives.  A possibility?

That's a good question Headbutt. I haven't heard what type of test method UNM has been using, and I remember coach Gonzales saying something about switching to the test that the MWC will be using, since they are paying for all MWC testing. If I find out what test they're using, I'll let y'all know!

In the last 2-months, I’ve seen 3 different co-wrk’rs receive False Positives on 2 different projects (AK & Méx).
