As of 10/11 do you think it was a good decision for the MW to delay the start of football season?

Like anyone had a choice. Wyoming leads this shit show. Not one regret leaving Wyoming and it’s poor decision behind forever.

Wyoming pleaded for a series with BYU, regrettably Holmoe agreed to it.

It should have started on time, this is so so overblown.

Good news, seems to focus on the aged, Boise and SDSU will reap the benefits of late season game against the Enemy (see Scouts for validation annually).

I think the whole season should be cancelled and everyone can save their year of athletic eligibility.  COVID is only getting worse as we speak.

They preserve their eligibility anyway. Th is year doesn’t count.

Hindsight is 20-20 and it's easy to think of reasons to criticize the delay knowing what we know now that we didn't know then (notably, that the risk of long-term heart damage to athletes who contract COVID-19 is relatively low).

I think it was the right decision and still do, mainly because all of the schools have access to fast and economical testing today that wasn't available at the end of August.  Giving a test to every player, coach and staff member involved with every program three times a week and getting next-day results on all of them wouldn't have been feasible then.
