Joe Rogan proposed to moderate a 4 Hour debate between Biden and Trump

There’s no way Rogan could control Trump for 1 hour let alone 4, Biden would simply walk out.

This was however a great line from Rogan on Biden...

"Biden, to me, is like having a flashlight with a dying battery and going for a long hike in the woods," Rogan told his guest, journalist Matt Taibbi, who chuckled at the comparison. "It is not going to work out. It's not going to make it."

They shit on Trump too on that episode. Trump didn’t retweet that part.

Absolutely!

There was another episode where he talked about people foaming at the mouth because he’d vote for Trump over Biden.  Then reminded everyone that he’s an MMA commentator and a comedian, not an expert in politics.

He’d vote for pretty much anyone other than Biden.

Joe Rogan is sooo overrated. His mind is too open and he's really not that smart.  He relates everything to weed and MMA and he's boring, although his format and demeanor does allow his guests to be informative and interesting.

Probably the only thing you've ever posted I agree with. I don't understand where his reputation comes from.  He's a mediocrity, master of the obvious and purveyor of conventional wisdom.

The jury is already in on Trump.

He's far more cerebrally "present" than Trump as evidenced every time either of them opens their mouth.

We've had not one, not two, not three, but four palliative care providers (two doctors and two nurses) who work primarily with dementia patients all volunteer their professional assessment that Trump was early-middle stage.

Because you could never find 4 doctors and nurses that would mix their lefty partisanship activism with their profession. 🤪🤪🤪🤪👍

Trump is the same asshole he's ever been.

Biden at times looks like he legit belongs in a nursing home.  But it's difficult to determine if the Republicans are exaggerating or not, because Biden doesn't take any off the cuff questions from media.

I guess we'll see.

At some point all my old college buddies got into Joe Rogan, bourbon, MMA, Elon Musk/Tesla, cryptocurrency, and being a Libertarian.  Like... every single one of them.

Meanwhile I'm all alone like "I...I don't like any of those things..."

The thing is Trump and the right wing media through pushing the idea that Biden has dementia have lower the bar so much for Biden that if he doesn't end up drooling all over himself in the debates it will be a win. Personally I think he will more than hold his own because Trump won't be able to walk away when tough questions are asked and will be forced to respond to direct accusations from Joe.

I've seen several videos of Joe answering questions from the public or reporters off the cuff on the campaign trail to not be too worried...... Is he my first choice and do I think he's too old to be president? Yeah but do I also think the talk of his mental decline is overblown.... Yes.

I get that you are a partisan Democrat, and a Joe Biden fanboy (with a raging Donald Trump boner----don't be offended, there are about 10 people on here just like you).

But honestly, it is difficult for most people to determine what Joe Biden's mental state is because the guy refuses to do any real interviews.   He just does this fake interviews...

So, the debates are all we have.

But I agree with you.  If Joe Biden looks normal during the debates it will answer a lot of questions.

I've never voted for a Democrat in a presidential election. Joe Biden was down on my list of preferred candidates but I ha e looked into him and have seen him give speeches and answer questions without notes enough to make me believe he will handle the debates just fine and to believe this dementia talk is just right wing projection.... But you are correct I am against Trump so I will be voting for a democratic president for the first time in my life.

I voted for Democrats in multiple elections.   Used to be a staunch Democrat (now Independent).

These past two elections have been a complete disappointment.

Hillary Clinton (terrible candidate), and Joe Biden (terrible candidate).   Against.... Donald Trump (terrible candidate).

Unlike you have I have not seen Joe Biden give any recent interviews to real news outlets, where he was asked any tough questions.   Can you send me a link to an interview that Joe Biden has done in the last 4 weeks?

More importantly, what are Joe Biden's policy proposals, other than simply opposing Donald Trump?!?!?

I went looking for the video I saw of him answering questions from the public off the cuff but I had seen it on Twitter a week or so ago and can't seem to find it and I have stuff to get done so I will concede, however,You can check him out yourself during a townhall on Thursday on ABC. I hope it goes better than the disaster of Trump's last night.

As far as his platform being more than not trump here's his official platform. Appears to be pretty in depth to me.

Especially when compared to Trump's platform.

Being a Libertarian rules. Y'all should do it more. I just walk around all day smoking a splif and using my gun like a Leatherman tool.

Planning is an exercise of power, and in a modern state much real power is suffused with boredom. The agents of planning are usually boring; the planning process is boring; the implementation of plans is always boring. In a democracy boredom works for bureaucracies and corporations as smell works for skunk. It keeps danger away. Power does not have to be exercised behind the scenes. It can be open. The audience is asleep. The modern world is forged amidst our inattention.

I'll have you know, my liberalism has no problem smoking that splif. And I am far less likely to shoot myself in the dick.

Yeah, but your liberalism also wants those splifs to be produced exclusively by small collectives and to be taxed at 85% to fund programs that prevent me from smoking exactly the kinds of splifs I want... Just substitute weed choices for words, and we'll have the apocalyptic hellscape you want to impose on my anarchic utopia.

You'll take the controlled choices we give you and like them, dammit! Besides, what good is getting high if you can't use it to expand government control?!

Jokes aside, California completely +++++ed up legalizing weed. They taxed it too high. You want to tax it just enough to make it worthwhile for the state, but not so much that you can't undercut the black market. They don't do socialism right down there.
