Says the junior college Mensa candidate professor 😂

Do they teach that Native Americans came from the Levant in BYU history courses?

Then your vote / non-vote is + 1 for Biden.

Don't give a shit.

If I had to choose on either voting for one of these rejects or not voting at all, I'd join the 50 percent of disaffected voters and not vote at all.

If I couldn't vote Libertarian, I'd vote Constitution party. I won't vote for this Republican president. He's no conservative.

Maybe George Carlin had it right.

Is this a high IQ post in your junior college estimation?

Can you answer the question?

Did they also teach that the Garden of Eden was located in Missouri?

Really I will just vote my conscience. I will vote for the candidate that best represents my views. I don't care if he or she wins or loses. This isn't about picking a horse race; it's a representative democracy.

Can you enlighten us as to which esteemed institution of higher learning you teach at in Las Vegas?  😂

I don’t teach in Las Vegas.

The “types” of MAGA supporters on this board

SDSUfan=Stephen Miller. Pure, unbounded bile and hatred.

NevadaConvert= Hannity. Hypocritical oaf, reflexively loyal like a puppy to daddy.

Soupslam=Nikki Haley. Supposedly “dislikes” Trump the person, but completely buys his entire world view and will vote with and for him every time. AKA Vichy Republican

NorCalCoug= Stephen Crowder. Airheaded rube with a pathological aversion to actual discourse who “trolls the libs,” and in the meantime embarrasses himself.

Am I missing others?

Howd you think it was gonna go?

Planning is an exercise of power, and in a modern state much real power is suffused with boredom. The agents of planning are usually boring; the planning process is boring; the implementation of plans is always boring. In a democracy boredom works for bureaucracies and corporations as smell works for skunk. It keeps danger away. Power does not have to be exercised behind the scenes. It can be open. The audience is asleep. The modern world is forged amidst our inattention.

i'm such a good and kind person, everyone says so.  believe me.  i believe the best of people.  i don't know, that's what they say.  it could be that people will be kind to one another.  patience is something that you will see a lot of -- just tons and tons of it -- in threads that i start.  i was talking to mother theresa, just a wonderful woman, a complete success of a person, and she was saying, she says, "AA," she says, "AA, you have believe the best of people." and i knew she was right.  so that's what we're gonna do, we're gonna believe the best of people and make mwcboard great again.

I’m telling you, most GOP that support him have a love/hate relationship with him. Maybe hate is strong, but he can piss them off and make them very frustrated. That would also be me. They love the good, wish to God he would grow as a person or at least how to act as president, and that’s mostly not going to happen. He’s definitely learned that what he says around staff can be leaked to the public, and he has learned not to have unnecessary people around him so they can’t make up a story they can’t prove but can prove they were with him.

I think what’s going to happen is Trump will look like he’s going to win in a landslide on election night, but a lot of the mail-ins won’t be counted yet. As they’re counted, his leads will shrink and some of the battlegrounds will be won by Biden by less than a 1,000 votes. I don’t have any doubt that the Dems already have a game plan in Dem controlled precincts in battleground states. They will have bogus ballets to use if they have to. They’ll pretty much know how many votes they need to win, and they’ll suddenly realize a bunch of ballots didn’t get counted as it happens every election. Fraud is easy if it’s done in a hardcore Dem precinct where all the workers and managers will do drastic things to remove Trump, and they will. Trump will have to get enough votes that it makes it impossible to cheat and not get caught.

You were doing great until the bs about Dem electoral fraud.

I read an article where the writer says there will be a Red Mirage on election night, followed by a Blue Wave of late votes that will give ByeDon a larger popular vote count then Hillary and an Electoral College that will narrowly swing either way.

He also said what we have seen up to now with the rhetoric and angst will be nothing compared to what is coming after election night.

Democrats went off the deep end calling Republicans enemies of the state. That solves nothing and will only embolden Trumpers and other right wingers to solidify their support. The whole "if you're not with us, then you're against us" mentality is what's ruining this country and I'm over it.

Trump is a narcisstic asshole,  but IMO most of his policies have been good ones. The fact is I fear the Democrat thirst for power at any cost. That has been very apparent in the few years Trump has been in office. Even before he was elected Democrats were abusing the system to keep him from being elected. Then we went through two years of trying to prove collusion, ousting him from within,  and when that didn’t yield the desired results, followed that up with impeachment. Democrat actions during the Kavanaugh hearings were disgusting.

The Democrat quest for big and global government is not something I favor. Climate change policy is not scary in itself other than the high carbon taxes that will be imposed. And inefficient wind spinners and solar power by themselves won’t get it done. I see Universal health care as poorer quality and longer wait times. Defunding the police will result in more crime. Gun control speaks for itself. Forgiving college loans and free college isn’t free. Excessive regulation favored by Democrats stifles business and growth of the economy. Democrats won’t admit it but it’s obvious they favor open borders to establish a base so strong it can’t be challenged. See California. IMO the short and long term goal by Democrats is socialism and to kill capitalism.

The latest protests and Cvirus have been eye opening. Democrat failure at local and state levels to allow violence to continue and not strongly denounce it has exacerbated the situation. Democrat governors heavy handed use of power during the pandemic makes one wonder what it will be like when they gain absolute power.

You can dismiss everything I’ve said above, but that’s how I feel.  In summary, I fear Democrat control and policies a hundred times more than I fear Trump.

Let's say that everything you both said is relatively true here, about dems playing dirty, not denouncing riots, etc.

The problem is that Republicans conduct themselves exactly the same.  There's zero intellectually credibility or honesty on your reasoning. Just say teams and shit next time and be done with it.

He’s right that this message board, by its nature, is not a good barometer of the electorate or the Trump coalition.

This is true, but I was pointing out that there are people in this world that we know that Trump lost as voters over the last few years. The crux of the OP was that no one changed their mind.

I get your point but "Democrats" made no such statement. Only Nancy Pelosi did and she didn't say that about all Republicans but rather Trump and Republicans "down the street from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue."

It should also be pointed out that the informal poll by the professor at UC Irvine isn't exactly representative of the electorate. For one thing, although California is decidedly Democratic and although that is particularly true of city dwellers, Orange County remains an aberration:

https://www.thecapistranodispatch.com/by-the-numbers-orange-county-voting-demographics/

Granted, not all of Mr. Grumpy's students are from OC but a disproportionate number and I therefore wonder if he isn't being naive to think that more of them aren't voicing disapproval of the guy.

So contrary to AndroidAg, although I really can't understand why it won't be a blowout against a guy for whom I have zero respect, I don't see Trump winning again.

I just can't help but chuckle at the claim that a guy with a consistently crap approval rating who won the last election by effectively 80,000 votes (against a very unpopular candidate) is unbeatable.

The people who hate him outnumber the people who love him

Why do Trump defenders think nothing is racist or bigoted? Do you think Donald Trump is a bigot?

Whoever said Trump was unbeatable and whoever said no one is racist or bigoted? Please link whomever made those statements.
