Only play every other week allowing for a 14 day automatic quarantine between games. Have conferences schedule their season on alternating weeks to enhance TV options. If a player/coach/etc. test positive after a game then they go hide out for a while. Returning to play would be dependent on an MRI (ultrasound?) showing no myocarditis or other malady's and a clean covid test. 85 man rosters made up of extremely low risk individuals would provide plenty of roster to have a team ready on game day. We're not talking about trotting out the nursing home residents for potential contact. We're talking about very, very low risk individuals getting no more exposure than they do when they're not playing, then quarantining as a matter of course whether they're positive or not after every contest. If only sports were apolitical.

Headbutt
We were actually looking to borrow some cash from our sisters up north, but then found out that they're flat ass broke. The last I heard the governor up there was looking to sell a couple of his single wide mobile homes to make the payment on his double wide. Not a perfect season, but a much healthier option for student athletes than what the MWC is doing now.

If only sports were apolitical. Maybe we can do what the NHL does. Have a two (line), team rotation. Team #1 (30 man squad), plays game #1, then goes into quarantine while team #2 (30 man squad), plays the next game, rotating every other game, and then supplement each of those teams with "extremely low risk individuals", to provide fill-in roster support for each team, so they are ready to go on game day. There...whew... I solved it for everyone! "Make a mistake once and it becomes a lesson, make the same mistake twice and it becomes a choice." Can we all agree---at the VERY LEAST---to not post propaganda? The kid who died was NOT playing football this fall. He was NOT on campus, and arguably contracted COVID because he was back at home in a less safe environment, and not in a "football bubble" regularly being tested by his football program. It's a shame he (and anyone) died. But to pretend that he would have been safer is a lie---he wasn't even around football. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2020/09/09/college-football-player-jamain-stephens-dies-at-age-20-of-covid-19-complications/ Jamain Stephens, a football player at California University of Pennsylvania and the son of a former Steelers first round-draft pick, has died at the age of 20 of COVID-19 complications. Stephens had played the last three seasons at California University, which canceled this football season because of the pandemic.

East Coast Aztec
Fingers crossed that not too many more get canceled before all the conferences that are playing begin. SEC still has two weeks. ACC this week.
