The Big 10 is just about all AAU schools which lead me to believe the presidents of those schools look at things a bit different than most.

B1G research money dwarfs it's athletics money...the academics run the ship.

Football and money is obviously more important to some areas of the country than others. To call some cowards because they place value on the health of their student athletes above a game is ridiculous.

Lol. You act like the kids in programs not playing football are in a bubble. They aren’t. One could argue they are safer playing football. But it doesn’t fit your political view.

Give it two/three weeks. We'll know then if there is a second wave once the student body and faculty get back on campus.

As much as I want to see West Coast and B1G fb, it's not worth the health risks to the student athletes and those associated with the fb program.

But there’s no scientific factual evidence to prove that there would be. 99.75% of the people that get this disease recover within 10 days without any side effects whatsoever. We have literally shut down the world for a disease that kills .25% of the population, the vast majority of which are over 70 years of age and have one or more co-morbidities. The reaction to this disease by most of the nations in this world is sheer insanity.

99.75% have no side effect whatsoever?  Where did you pull that number?

The IFR rate, otherwise known as infection to fatality rate is 0.25% in other words 99.75% of the people that contract this disease recover from it fully. We are being scammed. Where did you pull that specific IFR?  Can you share the link?  Also, where did you get data that everyone else recovers fully?  It is well documented that there are lingering issues in people and we are continually learning more as we go.

The couple symptomatic people I know are having effects long after 10 days.
