Never forget Obama’s biggest scandal.

The funny thing is honest Republicans who like when gov't spending is under control should desire a dem prez with a rep house...those combos seem to yield the best results for the country in the modern era.

The GOP is best equipped to be a minority party. They don't understand what to do when they're in power. They're like the proverbial dog that finally catches the car.

Ya mean like this:

"This is pretty straightforward," Mr. Obama told reporters. "If in fact IRS personnel engaged in the kind of practices that have been reported on and were intentionally targeting conservative groups, then that's outrageous and there's no place for it."

"The IRS as an independent agency requires absolute integrity and people have to have confidence that they're... applying the laws in a non-partisan way," he said. "If you've got the IRS operating in anything less than a neutral and non-partisan way then that is outrageous ... People have to be held accountable and it's got to be fixed."

He "talked the talk." have it lip service, but did he "Walk the walk" by looking into the matter ? Have the IG conduct an investigation ?

Not good enough for Trumpistan.

Hence, the Tea Party Revolution and the Trump takeover of the GOP.

When the Rs have come into majority power in this century, it is by the slimmest of margins. Yet, they rule as if they have a mandate from a landslide.

When D's come to power by wide margins, the R's act as if the D's have no legitimacy to rule.

:hmmm:.

Yep. They're all about keeping spending under control and balancing the budget when a Democrat is in the White House, but holy +++++, when they have the ability, they're all about spend spend spend spend spend, and +++++ their earlier "convictions" on the subject.

I have been saying this for several years.  The best, most fiscal responsible balance of government is a Dem president with a GOP controlled house and a split senate.
