This kid and his associates were known to the cops, were illegally present there as they were breaking curfew and the one kid claims the cops said they would push the antifas toward the fat kid militia to "deal with". These kids were informally deputized as an extrajudicial force as someone else put it.

High powered famous lawyers are lining up to defend him that it was self defense. He’s a flaming idiot, but it does look like he has a decent shot at a self defense claim. IanforHeisman
I don’t know how people got this but the kid has a long list of criminal charges going back to when he was 13. Nothing too serious.. Resisting arrest, weed, stuff like that.

Is he being charged as an adult?

And I dont take that accusation lightly. Planning is an exercise of power, and in a modern state much real power is suffused with boredom. The agents of planning are usually boring; the planning process is boring; the implementation of plans is always boring. In a democracy boredom works for bureaucracies and corporations as smell works for skunk. It keeps danger away. Power does not have to be exercised behind the scenes. It can be open. The audience is asleep. The modern world is forged amidst our inattention.

Famous lawyers mostly have big egos, and they’re attention whores. None of them are going to take a case pro bono unless, after looking at the evidence, they feel they can win it and look like a stud. Fvcking Duh !!! This is a reminder that there is a certain subset of people within the “law and order” crowd who are thirsty for violence. They start with our president, but are cheered by many. THEUniversityofNevada
An active shooter is confronted by two good guys, including one “good guy with a gun”, both of them die trying to stop him, and Trumpists celebrate the active shooter as the hero. Welcome to Trump’s America folks. Don’t forget to turn the lights out on your way out.
