If you could choose one fictional character to be POTUS, who would it be.

I'm going with Samewise Gamgee.  Loyal, hard working, salt of the earth.  Mayor of the Shire for decades after destroying the ring, so he has experience.  He can deliver a rousing, uniting speech.  Would definitely legalize weed and keep us out of wars.

Picard. A technocratic French commie with knowledge of the future. The Bernie Bros would be ecstatic.

I own a vehicle likely worth more than everything you own combined and just flew first class (including a ticket for a 2 1/2 year old), round trip to Las Vegas and I'm not 35 yet. When you accomplish something outside of finishing a book, let me know. When's the last time you saw a 2 year old fly first class in their own seat? Don't tell me about elite.

This guy...

Planning is an exercise of power, and in a modern state much real power is suffused with boredom. The agents of planning are usually boring; the planning process is boring; the implementation of plans is always boring. In a democracy boredom works for bureaucracies and corporations as smell works for skunk. It keeps danger away. Power does not have to be exercised behind the scenes. It can be open. The audience is asleep. The modern world is forged amidst our inattention.

First name that popped into my mind when I saw the title was Atticus Finch.

From SW Universe, I guess I would have to go Yoda.

From LOR Elrond.

From Star Trek - Spock

Harry Potter - Minerva McGonagall

But in all seriousness:

Star Trek: Benjamin Sisko.  Best captain in Starfleet, saved the federation (stopped a coupe and the dominion). And he’s drive McConnell nuts

Star Wars:  None. There’s nobody who I’d think could do the job.

LOTR: Aragorn

Elrond is a conservative.  You may not be as far left as you claim.

Yoda's too old and has dementia.  He can't even string a sentence together.

Luke Skywalker will save the universe from a great imbalance.

Too bad Jabba the Hut and Emperor Palpatine are the only two that will make the ballot.

I think Yoda’s age was an overstated issue. I hated when the establishment Jedi got together and united against him when it looked like he was going to win the nomination.

Remember that every argument you have with someone on MWCboard is actually the continuation of a different argument they had with someone else also on MWCboard.
