Covid-19 is never going away.  Spring will be no different.  Next year will be no different.  No magic potion exists.

Learn to live with it.  Suck it up.  Be men.  Grow a sack.  Put on a mask.  Play Football.

It is not going away ever.  Not magically on November 4th.  Not with mormon underwear prayer.  Not ever.  It will be around the rest of our lives.

Learn to live with it.  Play football, don't stop living.  Keep f&ck!n.

Vaccine smacksine.  Trumpers won't even take it.  You will need to get a shot the rest of your life once a year if this thing can even be controlled.

Stop being babies.  People will die.  You will die.  We all will die.  Live while you can live.  Stop being scared.

Stop ruining my life.  I got the mask on, I got my front row season tickets.  OPEN THE DAMN DOORS cowards.

Why worse case is we end like the MWC. BYU is probably in one of the best financial situation in the FBS. You guys screwed yourselves and you’re celebrating what this will do to BYU. Seems like an over obsessive with BYU to me.

I hope we still move forward with the AAC if possible.

Only people obsessed with YBU are you and Stunner......when and if it comes back in the Spring I can see it being Conference only and you will once again be on here obsessing about how you are #2 in some attendance classification in the state of Utah and still without a home.....wish you well but FU BYU!

It SUCKS to be a CSU Ram!

Meanwhile.....

The AAC is continuing to move forward with a 2020 fall season after athletic directors met tonight to discuss potential scenarios, sources tell

. Presidents meet tomorrow, where there is not expected to be a vote, barring significant movement from the Power 5 level.

Sun Belt Conference plans to follow SEC’s lead & play sports this fall, sources told @Stadium

Conference USA schools still planning to play football this fall, even w/league member ODU canceling fall season, sources told @Stadium. C-USA ADs met today & are “holding firm on playing in fall,” source said

Sorry, COVID itself is no scam.  Complain about the measures taken/not taken by politicians, but saying the virus is a scam is lunacy.

How about we complain about the agenda driven media for completely misleading the way that they report the statistics? Kudos to this local Spokane Washington station for simply reporting the facts and the viewer can draw their own conclusion. Every single TV station in the country should be reporting it this way:

Wonder who else is going to play despite the conference canceling the season.

Asking you, since I assume you'd know the answer...

If AFA or some other school still plays, who owns the TV rights?   Does the MWC release them or do they need to call Stadium about a temporary deal?

You’re correct in my passion for YBU🖕🏻Wishing you the best!💋

You are more passionate about BYU than Wyoming. It’s great to be a BYU. 9 years later and the passion is still alive.

The media gets that information at the same time or after the politicians do.  The politicians dictate what is open and what is not.  The media can rile up people, they don't close shit down or leave shit open.  And by now, the information is so readily available online, and so many people believe media is the devil anyway, and don't believe them, that at best, you can say media has aided in hysterics about COVID, but they aren't doing the decisions.  Don't let politicians off the hook.  Up and down the chain, they are responsible, for good or for bad.

Anyone who didn’t see this coming has blinders on. Nothing is going to be normal until an effective vaccine is developed and distributed.

I think the best we can hope for in the near future is an effective treatment, as opposed to a vaccine that may not happen for a while.

From a perfectly selfish standpoint I’m OK with this. UNLV is in the process of a major rebuilds in both FB and MBB. New coaching staffs and young players will benefit from the year to set new expectations in all areas needed for a student athlete to be successful in life. In the case of MBB and having 6 freshmen that extra year is giant. I don’t believe that more established programs gain as much and if they are careful they may take a step back.

So in the case of UNLV, are the athletes sent home or will they be able to stay on campus and use the facilities as they have the past while?

Last week TJ sent the basketball team home for the next 3 weeks, apparently they are planning to come back when school starts at the end of the month.

For now.

This is absolutely the problem. There are just too many unknowns in regard to the long lasting effects of this virus, for even mild cases.

I get the players wanting medical treatment for 5 years, but there's no way the universities can support that. By continuing with fall sports the liability is just too great, let alone the long term health of those who may develop those issues.

I don’t know the answer.  Does the conference dropping sports release individual schools to pursue something on their own or do they work something that the conference has TV ties to.

One thing is that each school does have the capacity to stream the games.

The media decides what graphics they put up, and what they don’t. It’s deception by omission. Enough with the political agenda. Tell me this, why isn’t every single TV station in the country reporting the statistics the way that the station above does? Look at those statistics. Look at them!Look at those statistics. Look at them!

The same state that had a hundred kids contract it at camp, and suspending kids for posting a photo of jam packed school hallways?  They couldn't even take their own governors warnings.  This country is individualistic to a fault at times.

I think you’re being too kind, calling us “individualistic”. As Americans, we are arrogant, and entitled. Asking us to work together by staying home as much as possible, wear a mask in public, and social distance, is too difficult and socialistic... My Rights are being violated!
Lets not sugarcoat this...

The services have an actual tradition.  I don't see much to put in a camp, try to schedule games, and pay for the logistics for what will likely be only a couple games that mean relatively little for the rest of us.  I wonder if UNLV/Nevada and CSU/Wyo would do a game of some sort though.  Maybe have it like a fundraiser or something?  Logistics would probably be rough, and I don't see how they would do full on tackle with nothing real at stake but pride.
