In 1984/1985 when he did Cocoon and this movie, he was UNDER 50 years old.  WTF?!?!   That guy has been 85 for 40 years!

That blew me away when I found that out. He apparently got a kick out of this twitter account that would announce when someone/something became his age in cocoon.

We’re all sitting in the dugout. Thinking we should pitch. How you gonna throw a shutout when all you do is bitch.

In Cocoon they died his hair white and used make up to make him look older.

I think, therefore I'm.

Robert Redford is only 2 years younger than Brimley.

I never liked it when he played bad guy roles, like in The Firm with Tom Cruise.  Felt it broke away from his lovable persona that he's known for.  He along with Sam Elliott had the best 'stache in Hollywood.
