Such sad news.  No 18-year-old deserves that fate.

Brutal.

Also exactly why you don’t fight people.

Yes, very sad. Some details coming out now. He was out some place north of Santa Fe, and it was around 3:30am, when he was shot, and no arrest/s yett.. "deputies from the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office responded to calls of a shooting in the Chupadero area, just north of the city of Santa Fe, where officers determined White had died of a gunshot wound."

When guns are involved there are no winners. One kid dead and the other when they catch him will spend most of his life in prison.

No guarantee the kid will be caught.

It’s really sad what happened, but I think it shows that Paul Weir needs to go.  He has no control over the program.

We are deeply saddened by the tragic news of the passing of JB White. He was an extremely talented student-athlete and we were looking forward to him joining the Lobo Family. He was an amazing young man with a bright future, our thoughts and hearts go out to his family & friends.

He wasn't even on the team yet, he was a recruit who committed to UNM. How can you control someone that wasn't even expected on campus til next week?
Young people + a party + an ego with a gun = tragedy. Had nothing to do with coach Paul Weir... but keep hating... it's what you do best!
