So BYU can pick up a game against CSU and possibly UNLV (if Iowa St cancels with them)....with an outside chance of UH? Where do Coog fans see the rest of the schedule being filled from?

Really don't know, but there should be enough games to go around.

With UConn cancelling its season, Army is down to 8 games and Liberty is down to 7. BYU still has a shot at a B12 or ACC road game and a few AAC schools need to fill holes.

And you can be fairly sure Texas Tech (the only available B12 team) and a fair number of ACC teams will be looking for body bag games.  Hell, Liberty could end up being that team for VT, Syracuse, AND NCSU - they're already ON their original schedules.  And Army is a convenient choice for most ACC schools as well.  Being out west isnt going to do BYU any favors.

In the beginning the Universe was created.
This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

BYU probably only looking to schedule 10 games

Texas Tech has USU's old coach, who for sure will only want to schedule an FCS.

I would totally expect UNLV to cave to BYU whims, but in all honesty, every MWC program should at minimum make BYU come to them or tell BYU to pound it

EDIT - on 2nd thought if BYU wants MWC teams in Provo the price starts at $2,000,000 before expenses or BYU can pound it

Lighten up Francis.

BYU mostly needs away games.  Besides, there are more BYU fans than UNLV fans in Las Vegas, anyway.

UNLV would come to Provo for $2M + expenses - the faithful can pony up some extra $$ to the corporate HQ in SLC !!!

Joyce McConnell, president of Colorado State University, said Tuesday she was launching an "immediate and objective" investigation into the athletic department following allegations that student-athletes have been intimidated and threatened as leaders sought to disregard COVID-19 protocols.

Coaches, players and sports medicine staff at Colorado State University told ESPN that athletic department leaders are discouraging athletes from being tested for COVID-19, are failing to provide accurate information to local and state health officials and are ignoring guidelines to quarantine athletes who might have been exposed.

It’s changed now. We will still accept your application for a one and done. 125k is now the going rate. No doubt UNLV has already Contacted BYU. Probably to late for you though.

The Masters 5k road race All American.

How’s the BYU fan base in St. George?

It's pretty good.  A lot of BYU fans live in the St George area.

(remember though, St George isn't a huge metro area, though it is growing fast)

BYU fans are struggling to realize their season will be done by mid October. Counting is tough.

The AAC wants 8 home games and the ooc played before that, so early october is the end of that.

ACC teams are basically done. B12 is almost done. Both want ooc before conference one is 10 games/weeks and one is 9 games/weeks. So end of September is their cut off.

So again BYU is down to UMass, NM St, Liberty (who reportedly gave up money to keep ACC games), and anything the MW will give you.

The smart move for the MW is also ooc early. If they follow that logical thinking October and November are very empty for BYU. Of course your October and November games haven't meant anything for nine years now, so not much of change.

This is funny...

Please, tell us what games on BYU's schedule will still be canceled.

You've been predicting doom and gloom for BYU for a while, and it hasn't played out.

Your own school, UTEP, is having its own scheduling challenges.
