man the station casino betting app really f*cks locals

No, I think it's more a case of the Peppermill lines being more influenced by local/public play, or just being off.

+190 was a good number. When I bet +200 at about 3 today, everyone else in the world was at +185.

los angeles dodgers GIF by MLB

3 Cy Youngs, a league MVP.  a Jekyll & Hyde in October.  I cannot explain it.  Neither can he

Kershaw has a 4.31 ERA among pitchers with 100+ playoff innings which is the worst in MLB history. Madison Bumgarner is like the alternate Universe version of Kershaw. He has a 2.11 ERA in the playoffs. (Including an insane 4-0, 0.25 ERA in the World Series) Madbum has only given up 1 earned run in 36 innings pitched in the World Series.

Even as a Giants fan (which is difficult these days because SF is such a liberal shithole)---I genuinely want to see Kershaw get his ring before he retires--it's such a huge black mark on an otherwise sterling career

Question baseball fans: Who would you rather be?

Pitcher A: 3-time World Series winner, 1-time World Series MVP

or

Pitcher B: 3-time Cy Young, 1-time league MVP.

Pitcher A.  Being a League MVP is nice, being a champion is better.

Earlier in the thread I posted that I'm not looking past the Braves. And today's performance by the Dodgers is why. :tumbleweed:

The Dodgers could come back, but the odds are long. The one thing they’ve lacked in this seven year run are two dominating starting pitchers that can shut teams down. Dominant pitching will always beat good hitting.

It wasn't all Kershaw's fault, the Dodgers only had 3 hits last night. It takes more than that to beat a hot team like Atlanta.

Meanwhile the cheatin' Astros tied it up at 3 each with Tampa Bay.

Jansen struck out the side in the 9th.  He had movement and his fastball was a couple mph higher.  Not like it was several years earlier, but back up to 93.

The Dodgers will need him in game 6 or (hopefully) a game 7

We’re all sitting in the dugout. Thinking we should pitch. How you gonna throw a shutout when all you do is bitch.
