UH invents 'catch and kill' for Covid.

Recommended Posts

Hay.  We all need good news re IT.  The University of Houston Texas Center for Superconductivity (original mandate to invent nuclear fusion, not fission) figured out how to kill Covid externally.

It's good news for all until a formal vaccine is invented.

Completely meaningless unless it can clean a football stadium!

I kid.  That is a cool breakthrough.  Covid is kind of like the space program, the focus is on one goal but so many innovations that will benefit society in other ways will come from it.  Hell, maybe somebody will invent "anti-virus Tang".

Good job UH.

Good start.  But a 392 degree heated filter will not work in an a/c system as they are designed currently . Too much radiant heat.

Thx.  We're working on it all. Once a vaccine is invented, Tang it is my bro. Along with nuclear fission at the Texas Center for Superconductivity.

That's what I was wondering. Just how big a heat sink would be required to account for it? And the effort to cool the filtered air? Come for the COVID, stay for the heat stroke.

Good job tho UH. Real #P6 move. Waiting for a thirsty MWC program to follow suit with nuclear tests. I'm looking at you Reno.

398F in Houston is like a Sunday.  The science is nothing about direct human contact at all.  It's about Covid killing air filtration behind the scene with no human discomfort.  Picture it like this..a wind farm in your backyard wondering why the chickens still lay eggs.

That just shows how little you know about air filtration combined with A/C. Picture it like this ...a 398 degree windstorm in your backyard wondering why the chickens are ashes.
