He talks a big talk in interviews and he’s trying the best he can to start off as mellow as he can, but the next news story that he thinks is huge, he won’t be able to help himself and he’ll be abusing them. They knew the law (Hawk works at one of the most prestigious law firms in the country). They knew their rights. I have actually interacted with the guy, several times. I thrashed him in a "Jesus was socialist" debate. He is open minded and a good portion of his followers are republicans that slam him constantly. He does not block them. He welcomes them. He is a good guy with some good ideas and some bad ideas. His idea that black citizenry should arm themselves and make it well known white supremacy and tyranny will not be tolerated is not one of his bad ideas. He was disavowed after speaking at conservative rally. However he runs several black charities, spends his days delivering food to elderly black Americans, is a consultant at a prestigious law firm, and BLM of greater New York has more members than any "real chapter". The Black Panthers did some things that the BLM should adopt. They circled the wagons and took a hands on approach to making sure black children received an education over and above what's available in the public school system, stressed the importance of the family (and the panthers as extended family), and they took care of their own. That is something that some minority groups have done a good job that helped raise up the entire group. Jews, in particular, have done a great job of this. Education is something that can never be taken and can (mostly) be obtained with nothing more than hard work.
