Lets stifle Trump's speech because we don't like it!  Liberals should now be called the New World Nazi's.  No religion, no public gatherings, no guns, no free speech, using the gov't justice system to advance their political agenda.  That is what they stand for now.

Anyone who thinks looting and burning of buildings and cars should be tolerated better be careful what they wish for.  To me thats as bad as it gets.
Target is closing about 2 dozen stores in the Minn/StP area until further notice.  Lets blame Trump for that too huh.

Damn right! You fight for the government’s right to free speech. Throw down the yokes of private dissent!

What speech is being "stifled" in your view?

Divert, divert, divert.  Pandemic response was deeply flawed, little has been address in income inequality, and foreign policy is a burning garbage can,  so you gotta find another way to fire up the base at any cost to the country

man trump is nuts,  I mean we knew that,  but wow.  never seen a leader in modern times work so hard to divide and fracture the country.

Rabble rabble Obama! Rabble rabble!

Planning is an exercise of power, and in a modern state much real power is suffused with boredom. The agents of planning are usually boring; the planning process is boring; the implementation of plans is always boring. In a democracy boredom works for bureaucracies and corporations as smell works for skunk. It keeps danger away. Power does not have to be exercised behind the scenes. It can be open. The audience is asleep. The modern world is forged amidst our inattention.

Even the Trump-curious Republicans were crossing their fingers and hoping there wouldn't be a major crisis during his tenure. Even if they wont admit it because hating the dems is intoxicating.

Here we are. #MAGA indeed.

Really?  So people didn't want a major crisis in their life?  WTH?
Are you really that dense and cynical?

Democrats have been rejoicing at the economic turmoil caused by the pandemic, except its going to backfire on them.

That one is total BS.  Nobody is happy about this

It blows me away that there are this many stupid people out there. Have these idiots that claim they believe in the Constitution above everything else ever actually bothered reading it?

Quote

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Not to mention they didn’t actually remove the tweet.... they attached a fact check to it.   But it’s the typical Trump 🐷  behavior of claiming one thing and doing the opposite.

The only speech being stifled is Twitter's. At least it's being sort of attempted with some dumb ass executive order I guess.

For the folks that think Twitter criticising the president is a violation of the first amendment, or even just stifling speech, here we have an actual example for you. This is the government arresting the press.

Actually just the black press.  The white guy was allowed to carry-on which is an even worse look for leadership in the Twin Cities.   In defense of Minnesota, the people there are generally extremely nice and I am sure most are horrified about what has happened.

Am I the only one that has no idea how to take this post?

"Consider the source" should be sufficient.

In the beginning the Universe was created.
This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

On the bright side, the aliens and murder hornets appear to be less of a threat than suspected, so we got that going for us.

We’re all sitting in the dugout. Thinking we should pitch. How you gonna throw a shutout when all you do is bitch.
