No it isn't, but he's a double digit scorer.  NMSU was already loaded for the season.  If he can earn good minutes in Jans system, even better.  Pretty good catch this late in the off season.  The only question remaining for 2020 is if AJ Harris, the pg who transferred from Ohio State and was a stud for 2 seasons, gets one more run.  He applied for a medical redshirt.  If not, Gilyard will run the point.  This assumes there will be a college basketball season of course,  or at least a conference season.

Honestly, there's a better chance Tillman sees the NCAA's at NMSU than at UNLV this season

If the guy can standout at NMSU & put up solid numbers who knows where he could end up......didn't see anything NBA from him last season, but if he blows up

No, following that progression, his final year would be in the Big Sky.

NMSU is very deep going into Jans fourth season.  Last year the team was decimated with injuries to start the season.  2 guys never made it back from preseason injuries, and 2 more limped around for first few weeks including the returning leading scorer.  Assuming a more normal year for injuries,  he isn't going to get huge minutes.  If he gets even close to 10 or 11ppg like he did in previous stops,  i will be more than happy.  It won't be much more than that even if he has a great individual season because of competition for playing time.  And he will most definitely have to buy in on the defensive side.  Curious to see how he fits in.
