He really said that?!

You'd have to have TDS to think it was about an assassination (like Retrofade), or not understand English.

It was his talking point about the 25th Amendment.

Here is what he said.

"That's why they are talking about the 25th Amendment.....3 weeks in... Joe's shot....Let's go Kamala...you ready".

He is saying that Joe has dementia and would be removed under the 25th Amendment, so that the Democrats can secretly install Kamala Harris in as President-----you can of course disagree with him on that conspiracy theory.

Why would Speaker Nancy Pelosi unveil legislation less than one month before Election Day to establish a commission under the 25th Amendment to determine the president’s fitness for holding office?

That’s the question many in Washington are asking Friday after Pelosi held a news conference with Maryland Rep. Jamie Raskin, a constitutional scholar and member of the House Democratic leadership team, to back his bill setting up a Commission on Presidential Capacity to Discharge the Powers and Duties of the Office.

Democrats say they’re simply setting up a process authorized by the Constitution that should’ve been codified long ago but is especially needed now because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Republicans think Pelosi is continuing the effort she started with impeachment to try to oust President Donald Trump. And others suggest Pelosi is signaling that Trump, who tested positive for COVID-19 last week, is unfit to hold office.

The 25th Amendment of the Constitution provides authority for the vice president to take over for the president if the commander in chief is “unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office.” Most people are familiar with the part of the 25th Amendment that allows the vice president and a majority of the presidential Cabinet to determine if the president is unfit to serve, but it also delegates such authority to “such other body as Congress may by law provide.”

I wonder how many votes Biden’s opponent George Bush will get next Tuesday?

Why do you say that?

Fair enough.  I appreciate the context and while the Pelosi conspiracy shit gets old I appreciate that he wasn’t referring to some moron shooting Joe.

Trump continuing to exert propaganda power

https://www.washingtonpost.com/lifestyle/media/voice-of-america-firewall-michael-pack-trump/2020/10/27/02a4fbae-1854-11eb-befb-8864259bd2d8_story.html

The head of the agency that oversees Voice of America and other government-funded international broadcasters said he has rescinded a rule that blocked him from getting involved in news and editorial decisions, a step critics say would undermine their independence.

The declaration by Michael Pack, who heads the U.S. Agency for Global Media, has raised fears among current and former officials that he is seeking to reshape VOA and its sister agencies into promotional arms for President Trump, who appointed Pack.

They saw irony in the notion that the agencies — whose broadcasts are designed to counter foreign government’s official censorship and propaganda — would themselves be subjected to oversight and potential censorship by a political appointee of the U.S. government.

Good Lord.

So you had to park a ways away, then get shuttled in for the event. Then when it ended, there apparently weren't shuttles (or enough shuttles) to get everyone back again. Apparently a whole lot of people were bussed to the event, and so they needed to get back to the bus to get back home again.

Newest ABC/WaPo Poll is out.

Wisconsin: Biden +17
Michigan: Biden +7

I can't buy a 17 point spread in a state like Wisconsin. California? Absolutely possible. Wisconsin? I call poor polling.

Yeah, I'm calling it an outlier, and they even called it out themselves.

The Wisconsin findings are significantly more bullish for Biden than some other public polls, which generally show him ahead by single digits, although two October surveys gave the former vice president a lead in the low double-digits. A month ago, a Post-ABC poll showed Biden with a lead of six points among likely voters in the state.

While the Wisconsin poll indicates Biden has gained ground in the state, some of the shift may be due to variation in random sample surveys. Slightly more registered voters in the current poll report having voted for Clinton than Trump in 2016, whereas the previous survey showed voters essentially split. If the survey is adjusted to match the 2016 election result, Biden maintains a 12-point lead.

Their photo op with these rubes was over so they don't give a shit about how they get them out of there. Another example of this admin not caring about average Americans or even their supporters.

Also this

We aren't worried because the vp will be fine. Who cares about the other people there.
