Sisolak is expected to announce in a couple hours the closure of all non-essential businesses in the state of Nevada.

Wow. Don't gaming and entertainment taxes provide a big percentage of state tax revenue. That is going to kill state tax revenue and state provided services.

I’m just glad grocery store supply chain is considered “essential business.”

Is it fitting or irony that possibly the most versatile word in the English language is also of unknown origin?

I’m more than likely getting laid off when I go in to work tonight. Haven’t heard whether we’re still getting paid or not. Only good thing is I have another full time job that I most likely will not get laid off from so at least I’ll retain half of my monthly income, but going from making $102k a year to $41k is a big hit considering I won’t be eligible for unemployment benefits. Good luck to all you guys who are affected by these closures

+++++ man my gym is closed and business is slow. wtf am i gonna do with my life.

I've been running a lot. you know how running bangs you up? whelp, I'm banged up. Going from ~15 miles a week to ~40 is tough.

Remember that every argument you have with someone on MWCboard is actually the continuation of a different argument they had with someone else also on MWCboard.

Cardio!?? Gross. I only went to the gym for a pump to impress sloots. I gotta figure something out before I lose my gains otherwise I'm gonna have to rely on my personality. 🤮

You run 40 per week? Damn, that’s impressive.

I do when my only strength options are "push ups" and the pool is closed.

It's all I got. I usually do 60/40 cardio to strength, but the cardio I do tends to be stuff that tones or at least complements strength work - box jumps, swimming, weighted carrys and stair runs, that kind of thing.

it's rough. poking at a progressively more jelly belly is worse. I've made my choice. Hopefully I don't burn off 15 lbs of muscle in 3 months like I used to do in HS XC season.

I will be doing bodyweight circuits and sprints instead of weights.  40 miles a week just isn't worth it to me.

I am typically 2-3 mile jogs a day for four or five days (I do other stuff for actual cardio) with one or two 5-6 mile runs a week.  Anything higher doesn't give me the rewards I am after, and only puts wear and tear on my legs.

So should we take it that you're a card dealer, but a Uber driver as a backup? LOL

Believe it or not I have lived in Vegas all my life and have never played a table game or placed a sports bet. Not a dealer or Uber Driver. Both jobs are in the same field different properties.
