Welp. Glad I'm not in the Golden State at the moment.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — California Gov. Gavin Newsom on Sunday called for all bars, wineries, nightclubs and brewpubs to close in the nation's most populous state and urged seniors and people with chronic conditions to isolate themselves at home in a bid to contain the spread of the coronavirus.

Illinois closed bars and dine-in restaurants today.

Ohio also closed bars and restaurants today.

I expect more states will follow in the next few days.

Nashville mayor asked that the main strip be closed.  The business owners told him to pound sand

Only 39 cases in all of Tennesee as of today. Give it a few more days to expand and the resulting public reactions, especially if a bar employee is diagnosed positive.

We will see.  The Nashville economy is still very based on tourism.  It will be an interesting couple of days.

I'm sure it's on the chopping block.

That one dive out in Knight's Ferry is probably still open I guess. You can still smoke in it so I doubt they're abiding by some mandated closure.

I'm glad I bought a new bottle of bourbon a few days ago. I'm gonna sit in my office, play video games, take a sip, and wait for all of this to blow over.

Regular patrons of Lagorios don't have to worry about Corona virus. If they can tolerate intake at that establishment, they can survive anything.

CLOSED FOR THE SEASON

As of March 15, Mt. Rose has made the difficult decision to suspend lift operations for the remainder of the season.

Due public health concerns associated with COVID-19, Mt. Rose is making this call due to our sincere regard for the health and well-being of all visitors & employees, as well as concern for the local community.

Thank you for your patience & understanding.

I’m waiting for martial law to be declared and no one is to leave their home except for grocery store employees and those that supply them, medical workers, military, police, fire protection, and public works employees for water supply and wastewater treatment.
