Since UNLV last won the MWCT in 2008, SDSU is 15-4 against UNLV @ the T&M.  SDSU has gone 23-7 in all Tourney games played at the T&M since then.

Hardy had the chance to become our first 4 year player on a schollie since Marshall/Hawkins. Let that sink in.

Props to him for being on track to graduate in 3 years though.

Not surprised. Hardy hasn't been happy for a while.

Heard speculation about Hardy and Hamilton back a couple of weeks into the season both potentially leaving (particularly Hamilton was close to leaving in the first semester) as they didn’t hit it off well with Otzelberger and the culture change that was being implemented.

At the very least expect Hamilton to go through the NBA process to get feedback.

Ultimately probably not in the best interest for the program to have Jenkins, Hardy and Hamilton together.  All three are shot hunters.

At least one, if not collectively all three, would have to sacrifice some in order for the team to succeed.  Don’t know if a head coach, especially a relatively young one, wants to take that on at this point.

Between the two would prefer Hamilton return, higher ceiling, more size. But only if he is fully committed.

With once again a large number of new players the summer trip can’t come at a more opportune time.

Well it sounds like Hardy may be playing with his brother only at another university. I’m OK with that because I don’t think Hardy’s preferred style of play fits in with the direction TJ wants to go anyway. Best of luck to him and Dembele. Now Hamilton is a perfect fit and with 2 more years of availability he will be a legitimate star over his time here.

I expect a very productive off season and a big step forward next year. Everything seems to be in place. The staff did a good job getting this program up and running. They will gel even better. Moving forward I expect to see a very fun style of ball being played here. Already in this first year the games were so much more fun to watch. Getting more productive shooters should make it pop. It will be interesting to see that develop. 2nd in MWC play wasn’t a bad start. Most of the conference is on an upswing in both MBB and FB so the future is bright.

We finished in a 3 way tie for second with USU and Reno.

The tie breakers seeded us in 4th because Reno and USU only played once.

Well, that, and you got swept by us.

Crap - Doesn't help with landing his brother out of Coronado HS

But with the emergence of Hamilton the loss of Hardy for 1 season might not be all that bad..........with Jenkins coming and some new freshmen

We never had a shot at his brother. Was listing us as a courtesy.

Credit TJO and a couple players for keeping things in house. Nobody got thrown off or transferring. Now it’s a clean break and everyone’s better off for it.

Coleman and Jenkins are going to be great leaders for the incoming freshmen. They’ve been the ones organizing the pickup games and weight room sessions at the Mendenhall facility.

Just looking at next years projected roster, it’s going to have more size (wingspan), speed, shooters (free-throws shouldn’t be an issue), way more spacing on offense, less need for exerting energy on offensive rebounding etc.

Agree on Jenkins as a great leader, the kid just gets it and I think that will be a major catalyst next year. Haven’t felt like we’ve had a guy that you could really look at as an Alpha Dog in a long time, but you can with him.

Yes, you should have been second, without a doubt.

From what I understand Hardy’s parents had some issues early in the season. And Hardy has not seemed happy with his role.

Guess if Hardy opts out, he's got only on year left anyway..........at this point keeping Hamilton might be the more pressing issue (not that I know of any move he might make)
