Stop throwing a bitch fit because you lacked some common knowledge. I know how hospitals operate. I’m asking you a hypothetical question on how you think they should operate in regard to life threatening Covid cases. Why don’t you man up and answer the question instead of dancing around it. Do you think unvaccinated life threatening Covid cases should go to the end of the line behind all other life threatening cases that come to hospitals. A simple yes or no will suffice.

To answer your question, no. Now please stop being a whiny little bitch because you didn’t know how hospitals work. Now go in the corner and learn about triage before you come back to this thread, because you’re bringing down the level of discourse in this thread.

His CFB team hasn’t won a conference title this century, but he has to do the mundane downshift on the MLS during their final about how they suck and he’s too “premium”. 2

Especially with omicron making the vaccines significantly less effective atleast from early data out of the UK....

From South Africa saw earlier this week if you got two shots the vaccine was only 70% effective and with one shot 33% effective from Omicron however also they are seeing with Omicron less symptoms, less severe symptoms, less hospitalization than any wave before. I think their doctor down there said a vast majority of people that tested positive where being tested for other things when coming across this but they were also showing it was affecting younger people more than older people this time. I mean this is still all coming out but pretty much everyone is looking to South Africa for data, Omicron will be the dominate strain before to long which some scientists and doctors have said is a good thing from the stand point of yes this is 70 times more contagious than the other strains, but so far the vast majority are no symptoms or few symptoms unlike previous waves and their hypothesis with Delta being pushed out for a strain that is less deadly, less severe symptoms and things along those lines, even though more contagious, in the long run that might be a good thing. So far it also appears less hospital stay than previous strains, less duration of sickness as well, and they are seeing if South Africa already hit their peak with Omicron as well. Data is still coming in but so far, it has been more good news than bad news compared with previous waves. But I think at the end of the day a vast majority of the population is probably going to catch this strain of Covid. At least that is my opinion but key is also people not to panic either which in some cases the press doesn't help with

Early modelling showing it will not overwhelm the health care apparatus, and will pretty much run through the population with mild cold like symptoms if any symptoms are even present. Seems like nature is kind of working itself out. Too bad so many extra deaths had to occur before hand, and so many medical procedures postponed and care worsened because of the anti vax idiots, but, go Omicron?
IanforHeisman
Is this just gonna be one strain after another for eternity now? That’s kinda how it feels. Numbers go up, number go down, new strain, repeat the cycle.

Then again, Covid, and each additional strain of it, is far more infectious. With varying degrees of the severity. The original, delta (the deadliest by far), and now this one. Who knows what else will pop up.

Omicron isn’t a good thing because we still have a large, highly vulnerable population and it’s deadly and debilitating to them. Highly contagious, it may break the strong link between infections and cases, but it will still cause a fair number of serious cases and mortalities. Will Omicron be followed by much less virulent strains? Hope so.

I was thinking that with as transmissible as Omicron is, it is going to infect a large swath of the population that would have otherwise been infected by Delta, thus resulting in fewer hospitalizations and overall deaths. I guess I did not factor in escapability and ability to infect/reinfect those who would otherwise have immunity and are vulnerable.

Pretty sure I heard on the news they will not be releasing an omicron specific booster because the current booster provides good protection against omicron. So….. yea.
