Zero new cases reported on yesterday (Tues.) in Ada County.  I am just hoping when BA.2 gets here the immunity from prior Covid, esp. the 1st Omicron wave, is still intact for most.  I’m still holding off on #4.  We do have a June wedding coming up so if things change before, I may go earlier than late summer/fall.

We have a wedding in Chicago next weekend, was hoping for shot #4 before flying up but it looks like they won’t be available for under 40 until late summer/fall.

This is also my first flight since covid started, don’t plan on wearing a mask.  The woman has been traveling weekly all over the country without any notice of symptoms.

I’d just go get one. Doubt if they card you.

We still card to make sure the pt is eligible.

@tailingpermitYou can get an exception under 50 if you sign a waiver saying you're immunocompromised. Most places don't check if u sign the waiver, but just a heads up,I have worked at locations where they will give the patient a hard time if they think they're lying.

I’ll wait until it’s officially available to my age group, I’m not going to lie on a medical form.  I appreciate the info!

I have officially been given notice that I will in fact be wearing an N95 mask on the plane, in between sips of bourbon of course.

I can't disagree that #4 is probably unnecessary with BA.2 and BA2.12.1 if you are as young as TP (under 40).  The CDC hasn't made the lagging mistake it did w/#3s during Delta (yet).  I jumped the line by a few days at age 63 last fall (65 and over) after seeing the Israel data the CDC eventually referenced in opening up to lower age groups (for #3).

Subtweet notes that these are comparing 3 to 2 and 4 to 3 doses not placebos.  Pretty impressive.

How is it BS? Those are straight statistics.

straight stats that show no breakdown between vaccinated and unvaccinated.  A somewhat important detail.

Certainly is nothing to see.  Like causation.

Because it offers nothing useful and is completely deceiving. If you're trying to determine how effective the vaccines are, you'd compare and contrast vaccinated people vs non-vaccinated

Yes. A comparison like this for SD County:

BTW you’re wasting your time arguing with him.
