Corona Virus - How bad is it going to be?

No. It would have spiked again had people not started getting vaccinated.

Agree that it was not 'winding down', but we did see a spike.  Hospitalizations and positive tests peaked around mid January.  The drop since then coincided with vaccinations rates.

In the beginning the Universe was created.
This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

lmao. Seriously? all you have to do is look at the daily charts to see what soup said is true.

But it is not true.  Cases dropped as vaccines rolled out.  Peak was early January, vaccines rolled out, cases dropped.  There is direct correlation between the two.  Vaccines not the only reason, seasonality, immunity played a factor but it is clear that vaccines played a major roll.

Exactly. That chart pretty clearly shows an uptick in April; had vaccinations not become available to everybody 16 and up that same month it likely would have become another full blown spike.

You're wasting your time. Bob is like a robot when it comes to his "beliefs". He is programmed to believe one way and no matter how much evidence/data you throw at him, he'll never be convinced.
