Corona Virus - How bad is it going to be?

Where is your compassion for the other 2.7 million that has died in that time frame?

What did they die of?  Has there been efforts to reduce loss of life by the American public?  Did the wanton disregard for doing so have potential impacts on others?  What exactly are you trying to defend here?

In the beginning the Universe was created.
This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

C’mon give it a rest. How many times are you going to say white Republicans suck and Democrats are saints. I’m sure you must scan CNN and DNC twitters and the liberal media every day to take the moral high ground and make yourself feel better. Same ol, same ol. You really don’t have to keep doing it. You are quite transparent in everything you post.

Remember that every argument you have with someone on MWCboard is actually the continuation of a different argument they had with someone else also on MWCboard.

Started feeling bad last week and quarantined up on the mountain. Lost sense of smell and taste on Friday.

Came down and got tested yesterday. Obviously it came back positive tonight.

Feels like I have a cold basically. So far I am lucky I guess. Need to quarantine until March 3.

Speaking of hot takes. This one is a doozy. Not a big believer in preventative medicine either, I guess.

500k of our fellow countrymen dead and so many "patriots" resist doing the bare minimum to save any of those lives. What a world.

It kind of puts a damper on the belief in your fellow man to do the right thing in times of crisis. Unfortunately it’s the hard cold reality that a large number of humans are assholes.

There are also a helluva lot more good people that put themselves directly in harms way to deliver and sell us groceries, to treat the ill, respond to emergency calls, etc.

What a world

This kinda thing happened in LA area too.

Planning is an exercise of power, and in a modern state much real power is suffused with boredom. The agents of planning are usually boring; the planning process is boring; the implementation of plans is always boring. In a democracy boredom works for bureaucracies and corporations as smell works for skunk. It keeps danger away. Power does not have to be exercised behind the scenes. It can be open. The audience is asleep. The modern world is forged amidst our inattention.

Comedian Bert Kreischer suggested we let the 1%ers pay shittons of money to jump the line to get their shots, and then that money could hep subsidize further vaccination efforts for other segments of the population.
