Democratic Primary is starting to look like a disaster.

Bernie is going to get clobbered in a general election.   There are too many Democrats still in the race, and it's allowing radical socialist Bernie to win.

And there is no white knight (Bloomberg or Hillary) who has enough appeal to come in late.

Trump will destroy Bernie in a general election.  Bernie in reality has a very tiny base.

Swap parties and adjectives to describe the candidate and this could have been said about Trump four years ago.

The story so far:

In the beginning the Universe was created.

This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Trump can win (and has won).

Bernie's base is tiny tiny tiny.

It was said. Repeatedly. I was there.

We’re all sitting in the dugout. Thinking we should pitch. How you gonna throw a shutout when all you do is bitch.

Bernie’s base appears to be roughly a quarter of the party. Again, not too different from Trump four years ago.

...about the same as Hillary.

Polls are Irrelevant.

Wait until the general election happens.

This is a disaster for Democrats.  Carville is spot on.

Too many candidates is handling a radical the nomination.

Bernie's ideas are far from mainstream Democrats, though, so he is unlikely to ever appeal to more than 25%.

Bernie IS mainstream democrats now. It’s going to be his party and it will adjust accordingly.

Democrats: Don’t Screw Up Like Britain’s Labour Party Did

Radical leftism may provide a political high, but it won’t bring victory—and the withdrawal symptoms could last decades.

What do you make of the record caucus turnout in Nevada? And reportedly a 40% increase in 1st-time caucus voters?

Bernie just might be able to get young voters energized like Hope/Change (or more) in ‘08.

It was the first time they allowed early voting so I wouldn’t put too much stock in the turnout compared to previous years.
