Game Thread: Nevada vs USA 2020

I expect a big day for Bernie, though I will be interested to see exactly what he polls at. He has slightly underperformed his polling in the last 2 states. On top of that caucuses are +++++ing stupid and could lead to weird results (though I think 70% of the state votes by mail so it might not be as bad)

Everyone else is going to be in serious trouble if they can't finish at least 2nd (and most of them are still in trouble even if they do)

Yea I’m curious to see what the first alignment looks like at my site; that seems to be the best barometer for how everyone is doing as that’s who everybody would have voted for if it were a primary. Also curious to see how this early voting works.

I have never caucused before. Pretty interested to see what it’s like, but damn this system just sounds weird as hell.

The word caucused just sounds strange. It sounds like some kind of illegal activity. As in they got drunk and caucused last night.

I thought it was kinda fun in a weird way. In '16 went with neighbor friends, some were for Hillary some we for Bernie so we gave each other crap and then went to lunch. Wasn't all that bad.

Yea seriously. When my sister in law picked up my daughter I told her me and my wife are going to caucus and she literally gave me a a weird look and said, “... what?”. Like she couldn’t tell if she heard me right or if I was trying to be a smart ass lol.

Looking at it, it appears to be a ranked voting system. So if your candidate isn't viable, your second choice gets your vote, and if they're not then your 3rd gets your vote and so on...

@Rocket does not approve of the DNC trying to rig the election.

Maybe they’re all honorable, disinterested Bernie campaign reps being asked to chair precincts.

We’re all sitting in the dugout. Thinking we should pitch. How you gonna throw a shutout when all you do is bitch.

MSNBC just showed an entrance poll with moderate/conservative Democrats. Bernie leads both Biden and Pete by a point.

Bernie is going to be the nominee

reminds me of that quip in the debate where one of the moderators said to Bernie "64% of polled dem voters are uncomfortable with socialism" or something like that and Bernie was all like "you mean the same poll I'm leading in?".
