Honest question to USU fans. What do you think about Brock Miller? I keep hearing he is a great shooter but all I ever see him do is miss.

Lmao he isn't a great shooter.  Sports media is as fake news as the rest of the media.

Pretty sure the only thing we can all agree on at the end of this game was the reffing was atrocious. I've never been a fan of moving to 6 fouls for college since the game is shorter than the NBA, but if refs are going to blow their damn whistle that much maybe everyone should get 6 fouls.

The refs were the Three Stooges.  Both teams were beneficiaries of horrible calls.   Home cooking in the last 3 minutes or so. But the refs didn’t shoot a single free throw for the Broncos or take ill advised three point attempts (Abercrombie & Jorch come to mind).    BSU win this mess of a game if they make better decisions and hit their free throws.

Unless USU also made better decisions and made their free throws.

Merrill, Queta, and Bean are good players. Anyone else on the Aggies? Porter, Miller, Anderson, and Brito belong in NAIA.

This year that is true.  Last year they all stepped up & made shots & plays. This year they have all been so bad & inconsistent.

True.  Abecrombie has no business being on the floor and Jorch has no business shooting.  Ever.   But that's Leon's post play, ever since he got here.  A forward like RJ Williams is the best we've got and Q ate him up.

Can't beat a good team at their place without Kigab either.   He changed the dynamic for this team the minute he got on the floor in Hawaii.  And they look the same as they did before he got here when he's out; mediocre.   Alston is still in a funk or showing he can be manhandled by MWC D.  Amazing it was that close.

With Kigab the Broncos might be the second best team this year.   Still can't wait for next season.

Who would you have put on Queta?  Once jorch and and William's were gone riley was next up. You going to put Alston on him with 4 fouls and give up 150 pounds?

Here’s a staggering statistic. For all games other than USU, Boise’s opponents have scored 15.56% of their points from the free throw line. In two games against Boise, USU has scored 35.95% of their points at the free throw line.

Boise doesn't have the athletes to keep up with the Ags.  😁

That was my point, clearly not communicated well.  The Broncos are always weak in the post and this year it's worse than normal.  Jorch could do nothing against Q.  RJ looked like a guard against him inside. Abercrombie was all that was left and in a good year, he never gets off the  bench.

I think our post play is better than last year. At least RJ can score and Jorch takes charges. Haney and Wacker did neither. Once both posts fouled out we were in a world of hurt. Realistically we should have been blown out. Have we ever gotten the number of uncontested threes that USU had? They must have had at least ten or more and couldn’t make them.

Oh well on to Air Force and SDSU. Hopefully Kijab will be back and Alston will become a factor again.
