Sac fly, 8-7! Aztecs 😱😂

That's how you come back.  Chip away here and there.  While I know this would have been a nice series win, Aztecs are off to a good start

Agree completely, 3-4 vs Oregon State and Oklahoma is miles of improvement from where we’ve been. Loved the fact that they battled back today, hopefully close those out down the road. TCU in town on Tuesday, another chance to compete against top flight competition.

Continued Aztec success against the Big West will also serve you well in 2020, as much as it stings me saying that.  The one thing SDSU cannot do if they want an at-large bid is lay an egg in MW play.  No dropping two series to a combination of Nevada, Air Force and Boise.

Aztecs and Santa Barbara both share several mutual opponents this season.  SDSU plays 16 games vs common UCSB foes, including series with UNLV and Oregon State.  It might be worth comparing at year's end.

I’m surprised Boise is 7-4.. I’m assuming their wins all came against turds? I know nothing about college baseball so this is all new to me.

So far, yes (Seattle and Northern Colorado).  But Boise gets a pass since this is their first season in 40 years.  Your ooc schedule was constructed well, several regional foes.  Your games with Creighton, BYU and Utah will be a better measure for you.  Good opponents but winnable, too.

Ah so the warm weather teams have the advantage.. Nobody wants to play in the snow I guess. Good thing Idaho decided we don’t have winters anymore.

Edit- never mind I guess I need to use my good eye. I think Reno and Boise have similar weather, they might get a little more snow.

For NCAA Regionals pretty much this doesn't matter for MWC. Its who wins the conference tournament and it has been rotating between SDSU, New Mexico and Fresno for a good number of years.

Boise plays Niagara tonight in game 1 of a 3 game series.  Niagara beat current #16/19 Florida State first game of the year, then dropped a couple to NC-Central and got swept by WSU.  Pitching could get interesting with this being games 5,6,7 all in a 6 or 7 day stretch.  I'd expect lots of runs.
