He's not the leading candidate. Just candidate.

Hawaii AD Dave Matlin said the offensive philosophy of the coach will be a determining factor if they will get the position or not. Not sure Viriginia's Offense is what Dave Matlin will be looking for....

Only repeating what was posted by USATODAY.

Since the MW seems to have a theme of former head coaches returning to their former positions (Utah State, San Diego State), maybe Chow should be given another shot.  Can't go worse than the first time around, right?

I think it actually could

He did some good work with Bryce Perkins this year. If he’s willing to adjust his philosophy to fit the talent that he has, instead of trying to fit square pegs into round holes like most coaches, he could be a good fit.

June Jones would be the better choice, and more apt comparison.

According to USATODAY Robert Anae OC of Virginia is said to be leading candidate for Hawai'i HC job. Thoughts?

If Hawaii needs attendance Anae will at least bring the women fans.

The Anae family has no loyalty to Hawaii. Next!

Anae has only got results. He should have gotten the BYU job. He is the best OC BYU has ever had. Can he be a HC who knows?

He is brilliant in adapting to personal.

That is understandable. Many BYU fans are now wishing we would have hired him as HC.
