Not sure wtf Auburn has done to justify jumping up one spot while we remain static?

Have a team in front of them lose....

This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

And by the same token, we should have jumped Kansas as well, especially considering the fact our undefeated record is objectively more impressive than Auburn's.

So, Kansas, by losing to the #4 team in the country, should have dropped 4 spaces instead of 3.

Yeah...whatever....

Auburn's SOS is in the top 20.  SDSU is below 90.

So again....whatever...

Unbunch your panties and relax.  Rankings dont mean shit come tournament time.

We have a roadie to Fresno. I'll maybe start counting chickens after that. Hutson and Shelton have been tough on us and Grimes is back.

Tuesday is our biggest landmine, IMO.

We're in the company of some really good teams, so no real complaint.  Does anyone really care about polls anymore, though?

But it is cool to see Creighton at #25 and Iowa at #26.  Absent is Utah, who lost by 39 at Colorado yesterday.

Injured senior starters Noah Blackwell and Nate Grimes didn’t play in the Jan. 1 game, nor did midseason transfer Jordan Campbell, who had not yet been cleared. All three are expected to be available Tuesday, and the Bulldogs had a bye Saturday, giving them a full week to prepare — while SDSU has just two days and must travel.

They're regressing. Krystowiak is on borrowed time. They haven't been able to right that ship up there since Andre Miller and the sweater.

We haven't been able to handle Nate. He's an Aztec killer.

Also, seems like he's been there forever.

Did the bad clown touch you again? Or are you just a c*nt by nature?

SOS doesn't mean f*ckall compared to what you do with that schedule, i.e., SOR. And according to ESPN, our tournament resume is best in the nation. Which to translate that to tard, means it's better than both Kansas and Auburn's.

Remind me, which shitty team is yours again?

BTW, by the NCAA's NET metric, yes, we should be ranked above both Kansas and Auburn.

Tuesday is gonna be a tough one for SDSU. Wouldn't be shocked if they leave with their first L.

Super props to Aztecs.  Checking the future sked and all conference play, it is entirely possible SDSU runs the slate undefeated through the MWC tourney.  Money wins over BYU and Iowa. Strong bank over Creighton.  Someone will have to do some fact checking pls.  When was the last time any squad hit March Madness undefeated pls?  Intuitively, it's probably happened before but it's so rare.

Meanwhile back at the AAC ranch in passing, 4 squads possible for MM.

Believe it was Wichita State in 2014. They lost to #8 Kentucky in the round of 32.

The Aztecs as a 4-Seed went to the Sweet Sixteen that year.

Just noticed this about Fresno: despite their 5-11 record, their efficiency margin is +2.67.  So they really should be about a 0.500 team but they've lost so many close games.  On kenPom, they're actually the unluckiest team in D1 by a wide margin.

Yeah, I was going to comment on the bad luck factor.

I wonder how that plays with a player's psyche over the course of a season? At what point does it become self-fulfilling prophecy because you've convinced yourself you're going to find a way to lose?

That honor went to bsu last year. Not sure if it got in the players heads but we couldn't win a close game to save our lives. No chance of that happening this year. Have won most close games and most of our losses are substantial.
