Exactly, so stop crying about it. Boise gets more because by having Boise, you ALL get more. A lot more.  Stop crying.  Boise is handing you guys welfare.

So, in six years, y'all going independent to "get more"?

God forbid Boise State fails to over achieve over the next six years...

and I thought Texas fans were arrogant...

In the beginning the Universe was created.
This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Nah, the MWC is going to raid the AAC, drop SJSU, do a scheduling agreement with Hawaii.  Bring in Gonzaga and sign a media deal in excess of 10 mil per team.  And Boise will get their extra 1.8 mil again.

We are the Texas of the MWC but with more success in conference and with no equivalent Oaklahoma.  Just a bunch of K States.

Where's the extra 1.8 come from? You guys opening a blowjob booth as part of your stadium makeover?

We are nice, seems we are content to just take an extra 1.8 mil and hand the rest of our value back to you ungrateful plebs to squander away.

This is correct.  Nobody really wanted them.  It was one of those deals where you say take it or leave it.  Here is what you have to do.  Hawaii can leave at any time and drift away.  No one is forcing them to stay.  I for one think they would fit in the big sky.  From a $ perspective it would make sense.

I’m not so sure that Wyoming could survive in the Big Sky, really no big name schools to leech off of there.

Hawaii should go Indy. There are plenty of schools that would set up mini vacations to play a glorified scrimmage. Not sure there would be any interest from  national tv partners to buy their home games though.  Spectrum would likely pay more money I would guess. Win win for the mw and Hawaii.

"but we only lost to Stanford by 3."

Here are the numbers for the 14 SEC football programs (in millions):

2. Georgia: $129 million
4. Alabama: $111.1
9. Tennessee: $93.9
10. Auburn: $93.6
12. Florida: $88
14. LSU: $86.6
15. Texas A&M: $82.6
21. Arkansas: $67.9
22. South Carolina: $64.4
33. Ole Miss: $51.2
49. Kentucky: $40
59. Missouri: $31.4
60. Vanderbilt: $30.3
61. Mississippi State: $29.8

There is a HUGE FINANCIAL DISPARITY in these programs bottom line.  Even in the SEC there are the haves and the have nots.  And for you to suggest that these programs have all achieved the same level of success or have the same level of program support is ludicrous.

We’re talking TV contract knucklehead. All SEC schools receive the same amount of money from their network deals. Whatever the Conference generates is split evenly between the schools. Whatever the individual school generates is kept by the school. As should be.

Agreed.  Boise should get to keep all their money instead of handing back most of it to the conference and only getting an extra 1.8 mil

I’m not against Boise St getting more money for TV contracts as long as it’s not from the MWC TV deal. Negotiate your own Tier 3 deal and keep what you can get on your own. If Hawaii can get 2.5 mil on its own, imagine what Boise st could get. Problem is the MWC don’t allow schools to keep tier 3 deals.

We’re on the same side on this, you’re just too stupid to see it.

Why just T3?  We negotiate our own T1 and T2 rights, we should keep it all.  Instead we give most of it back to you ungrateful losers.

If you want it that way just pull a BYU and keep it all.

Boise St will not rise in statue staying in the MWC. You have peeked and gone far as you can go. Too many leeches it supports in the mountain division. The only way for it to rise any further is to go Indy because no P-5 conference will take them.

We already negotiate separately, do the leg work, and give most of that money back to the conference to teams who have never accomplished anything and never will.  We hand out welfare to this entire conference.  You should be kissing Kustras retired ass.

The conference still negotiates your TV deal.

Well, Wyoming has been the visionary and cofounder of two conferences that Hawai'I later joined. Tell us more about leeching and coattails...
