Would have liked a little more 3pt defense today to maximize our advantage, but it is what it is

AFA was 9/25 - 35%

Swear I saw a box score that had them at 45% before I said that

Nevada was 13/23. Meeks and Milling were 6/9.

But in other news they weren’t highly recruited. 😂

Pack looked good. I’m moving them up to 3 in my Rank Em this week.

I'm in Sacramento for work so idk if its blacked out in Reno but it's working in Sac

Sac is out of the footprint for Nevada. Heck I think South lake Tahoe is too, I was able to watch a Pack game on stadium in Tahoe last week.

I'm honestly enjoying watching this team more than last year, next game will be huge against BYU.

We will see if we're actually playing better, or if the competition has just been easier.

If we can compete (or god forbid get wins) against BYU and St Mary's then we're in pretty solid shape entering conference play. This could possibly be a 3 bid league if everything falls into place.

BYU gets Yoeli Childs back for our game. Makes them a very tough out. The ceiling is high if we can get past them.

Utah State looks very pedestrian without Queta so far. Not much separation between Nevada, USU and UNM that I can see. CSU looks to surprise as well.

Last years team had more versatility with guys being able to defend and play multiple positions.  I don't know if we've ever had a team that's been able to shoot the ball like this though.

I’m really interested in the BYU game. We haven’t beaten a team with a strong frontcourt yet, and BYU certainly has that. If they can figure that game out, I’ll start getting pretty excited.

In a related thought, had Jordan Brown stayed...
