Csu belongs in the west

Recommended Posts

There is no second place winner. Championship game winners:

Boise: 2

Fresno: 2

SDSU: 2

West: 4  Mtn: 2

The rest is rubbish.

Go Aztecs!

As opposed to the manner in which your allegedly superior "grind it out" school "alternates" beating SDSU. As in once every six times you play us. :loser:

True. Your teams we lost to were way better than us the years we lost. The one thing I will say about USU is we don't generally lose to inferior teams. We typically blow them out. I think it's the quality of teams we have to play EVERY year in the Mountain that is the difference. We have winning streaks against every team in the west besides SDSU.

There is way more parity in the Mountain. The West is top heavy with sometimes two, but most times only one good team. Since the MW added SJSU and USU, there have been four different teams from the MTN in the championship game while only two different teams from the West. It's just so brutal the Mountain teams have to play the gauntlet of the schedule we do that we're too worn out and battle weary by the time we face the much fresher west opponent in the CG.

This would have been better, but it was too thick.  The subtlety of the joke is blown.

The computers, OOC records, and in conference records do not lie.  The Mountain division has been drastically stronger then the West every single year, after the first year the division split.  Just a fact.

Computers rankings are for Losers whose teams don't quite measure up in the won/loss or Championship categories.

Yeah, that's not how numbers work.  You see, those computers measure wins and losses.  The #SECMTN shits on the West head to head, every year.  They also historically perform far better OOC.

Head to head tells the story between the divisions, as do the OOC games.  The #SECMountain should get 65% of the new T.V. contract, with an option for the West to get closer to a 50/50 split with a performance improvement plan and metrics they can meet.

Stats, metrics and other analysis don't always tell the truth. What would you think about a team whose QBs had these numbers ?

  Passing
Rk Player Cmp Att Pct Yds Y/A AY/A TD Int Rate
1 Jesse Freitas 97 171 56.7 1200 7.0 4.2 7 14 112.8
2 Bill Donckers 87 156 55.8 1325 8.5 6.7 11 11 136.3

Rushing & Receiving

Despite those pedestrian numbers, the 1972 SDSU Aztecs finished the season with a 10-1 mark.

Analytics and metrics << Won-loss record.

Nah, hard to beat a team twice in one season and with a rusty/injured Hank I dont want a shoot out.  Would rather beat the Aztecs 17-6
