But, but.....

1. San Diego State (But, but.....our defense can save our asses)

2. Boise State (But, but.....Hank was hurt)

3. Air Force (But, but.....we could beat Boise now).

4. Wyoming (But, but....we don't need a QB that can actually throw)

5. Utah State (But, but....we beat San Diego State in their crib)

6. Hawaii (But, but...we've actually won on the road twice)

7. San Jose State (But, but....we really should have beaten Nevada)

8. Colorado State (But, but....we had Arkansas on the ropes too)

9. Fresno State (But, but....CJT is a QB whisperer)

10. UNLV (But, but....we got one of them there SEC road wins too)

11. Nevada (But, but....Malik just pulled a B+ on a pop quiz)

12. VACANT

13. New Mexico (But, but....we don't have the word "State" in our school name)

All but one school in the 2019 MWC is unpredictable.

How awful must it be to live in a state where UNM football is the "flagship"? November 9 against AFA is going to begin an epic 3-game run to close the season during which the players will finally give up on Bob Davie and the Lobos will lose by a cumulative score of something like 150-35. Shut. It. Down.

I still think this board overrates SDSU and underrates Fresno. SDSU may be 7-1, but who have they beaten? Their best win was a 4-point win against Wyoming at home. Meanwhile they struggled against teams like UNLV and Weber State and lost at home to a USU team that just got boat raced by AFA. I think SDSU is very lucky to avoid both BSU and AFA this year or their record wouldn't be nearly as impressive. And I still think Fresno is underrated despite this week's result, but I will acknowledge that maybe I'm just overrating them.

We beat both of them last year and last year was pretty mediocre.

No teams are above teams they lost to!

Ordinarily, I'd go on a spiel about teams improving and regressing during the course of a season and how this ranking methodology is dumb....but after looking at your rankings, I can't really disagree with the order.

Maybe USU and SDSU could be flipped, but I doubt the Aztecs record would have been any better than the Aggies if they had played USU's schedule to date.

This^^

Although I think SDSU has the opportunity to move up to #3 shortly and Wyoming could feasibly drop their final 4 games.

Could also win out, although I don't think that is likely. We don't ever play well on the blue, Aggies are a toss up, there will be a sheep slaughter, and the zoomies are always a tough game. Will be a fun ending to the season!
