Boise State Hoops Recruiting

Wowza. PG seems like an upgrade from Shaver and this PF the best big Boise has ever landed and will cause matchup problems with he and Degenhart on the court at the same time. Plus Deggy freed from getting banged up on D by much bigger players.

If this team isn't the best in school history, it'll be a disappointment. This kid is going to be special:

Will be interesting to see who plays and who rides pine. All three t-FR look ready. I’m expecting big things from RJ Keene. Kobe just needs to clean up turnovers. The transfers will likely start/be sixth man. Whiting just needs to play with more confidence and he’ll be a very solid player, but will likely have similar role off bench next year. That’s 9 deep not including the incoming freshmsn.

I have no doubt that depth won't be an issue. Whiting was the only reliable option off of the bench and he hadn't played in over two years. O'Mar is a proven D-1 player. RJ can play. That's already 8 players. Whatever the FR can add is gravy on the biscuit.

BJ just all but said, Dawson Baker isn't coming to Boise. Felt like a long shot to begin with. He's almost guaranteed to come off of the bench in Boise, where he'd likely start in Logan, SLC, or Provo.

Boise cancelled his trip. I believe they have have thought a current player was in limbo when they were recruiting him, but then everyone was on board and they didn't have a spot for him.

Julian Bowie wins AAU national championship. Isaiah Harwell also on the team. The two seem pretty close. I'm not sure if there is bad blood when his brother left Boise, but it would be insane if Leon could land Isaiah Although it doesn't even look like Boise has offered.

Anybody seen this Priest River kid. Led Idaho in ppg. Only 5’-10 and probably a liability on defense, but shot looks smooth. Class of ‘25 with an NIU (only) offer.

I doubt Leon would offer but hope he stays in state or Big Sky Conference.
