Keep an eye on this transfer. He's visiting Boise this next week. He got injured at Kansas, so he didn't really play, but he was a two time D-II All American before that. Averaged 25 ppg and 9 rpg, led the team in points, rebounds, assists, blocks, and shot 45% from 3. Only has one year, but he'd be a game changer.

We could have used his offense coming of the bench this year but he and Doutrive were bad for team chemistry.

Not a great shooter (.298 from three) and turns it over a lot (4 per game). Hopefully having more weapons around him will make him have to force less and become a better all around player.

Can he play defense?

That's better than Shaver shot this year. I think the TOs had a lot to do with a trFR running the show at PG.

He did lead his team in steals.

Not sure if he trended better (shooting %) as the season went on but he had a couple big games where the 3 was falling and if you watch his highlites, he has a nice high release.  Quick release too. 

He's got quick hands on D it looks like too.  Pestering the ball handler is one of his things.  He averaged 1.2 steals per game.

If that dude somehow commits to Boise he’ll immediately be in the running for MW POTY (if healthy). His highlight film from D2 is that good. Like Drew Timme but with three point talent. He did miss last season with a shoulder injury though.

Yeah, he'd be an impact player for sure. One of the coaches told me he is absolutely a perfect fit for their system. He's their #1 target and they are pulling out all the stops for him. He's just finishing up his trip. My guess is that if he doesn't commit this week they likely didn't seal the deal.

I was hoping for a commitment by Cam Martin by now. The longer it goes the less likely, I believe, he ends up in Boise.

Yeah, I just saw BJ say there is some good recruiting news coming in the next couple of days. I'd love to be wrong on this. Sounds like I might be... hopefully.
