Emmanuel Ugbo has committed.

6'8" 220# Forward out of the Netherlands. On the U20 national team and was impressive according to some at the recent NBA Academy games whatever they are.

Had a few other offers;  Valpo, George Mason and St Louis among others.

Huge get. I love it. On paper, this is the best class Leon has ever landed. Boise is set for the next three or four years. If you include Keene, there is some massive talent coming in next year.

Some more on Ugbo. This is a monster pickup.

Definitely want this kid coming off the bus first. Maybe the most physically imposing freshman BSU has ever landed. Dude looks like a redshirt senior PF on a Big East team already.

He's the most physically imposing player Boise has landed since Tanoka Beard.

Honestly, I would say Ugbo blows Tanoka away in the physique department..and he hasn't even started in our S&C program yet.

Ugbo looks more athletic and long, but Tanoka was a brick house.

Meadow wins tourney MVP against top competition at Tarkanian Classic in Vegas.

That's a huge deal. 16 teams involved and they beat nationally ranked Bishop Gorman. Meadow dominated the 2nd half of the BG game. Next year's roster will be the most talented the Broncos have ever had.

Boise hitting the transfer portal hard. Really active to grab a PG and a post.

Boise loses:

Shaver, Milner, Naje Smith.

Boise adds:

Lockett, Meadow, Ugbo.

So who is going to jump (or be forced) into the portal to make room?

Kuzmanovic? Mozilla? Burke Smith?

Hopefully not Sada, Keene, or Young.

Just saw BJ’s tweet saying the same thing and the POINT guard part really stood out to me. Has coach Whiting and The Borg sent the message to Whiting to come “home”? Is sister Whiting going to turn things around for the lady Cougars? Is Whiting gone?

BYU women finished 5th in WCC.

Wonder if this PG will be available. Big-time scorer in the MAC. Just barely missed out of NCAAT and lost to Michigan in the NIT today. Name sounds familiar.

They lost in the NIT and RayJ is done.  His coach at Toledo said he's going to sign him as a coach.

Boise bringing in some seriousb talent. Signees Chris Lockett just won Louisiana POTY. Andrew Meadow won his conference POTY. '24 commits Julian Bowie won the Idaho POTY as a Jr and Pearson Carmichael won his conference POTY as a Jr.

Carmichael and Bowie have really big upsides.  Carmichael is a really skilled wing with good vision and a good handle.  And he's still growing.  Signed at 6'6" and he'll be at least 6'8" before he gets to Boise.

Idaho high schools with an insane amount of talent right now. That kid from Lake City is top 70, as is Liam Campbell. That Harwell kid is top 5 (although he moved to Utah to up his stock). Julian Bowie is a P5 talent, as well.
