jewelz4562000
We also just got Chibuzo Agbo who sat the bench at Texas Tech but was a top 100 high school guy and 4 star. Had offers from AZ, Marquette, USC before committing to Texas Tech

We can only hope but he's a longish wing who is real athletic and plays solid D. His jumper can be real good but it's still a work in progress. Super team guy by some accounts. bsu_alum9
From San Diego area. Played in 45 games but only 293 total minutes in 2 seasons at TTU.
bsu_alum9
He was the 4th-leading scorer for local BK Knights as a junior. Spent his senior year practicing at powerhouse Link Prep but did’t make their game-roster.

NAIA is in his future unless he really developed practicing with 5 star kids in Louisiana for a year. It's an easy way for his dad to get him back home and evaluate where his son is at and then find him the proper level to play at.

But then I remembered that time when Max Rice went 1-24 from the three point line to start the season and then got even more playing time during conference play.

I do think Leon screwed the pooch bringing his son back too soon after rehab for hip surgery. He looked geriatric early on. It was sad. That said, Max had earned some of that trust the season before and Kuz had not stepped up. And I think the real mistake may show up this season when we see RJ Keene. He is and was a superior option to Max. But the season worked out ok if not for another dump in the Dance so...
kingpotato
Boise tripping a blue chip this weekend. They'll lose a lot next year, so this kid would be a day one starter.

Is this Rice’s FIBA u18 coaching paying off?
4rowsup
Akot officially gone to Memphis. We now have 2 gaping holes to fill for next season. If we do not pick up a few out of the portal Leon's 20 game season is in serious jeopardy.
bsu_alum9
Weird addition. Hardly played at Detroit Mercer (injury maybe?) Did flash some potential in Juco, but probably not a starter for Boise.

kingpotato
Boise just got another visit from a 4**** (ESPN) PG in Jordan Ross. If they can nab him and RJ, they are set with Deggie and Nganga. Rice HS recruiting seems to have really picked up recently. https://247sports.com/player/jordan-ross-46114378/
kingpotato
Offer out on PF Drew Fielder. I'm not sure if Leon ultimately gets these guys, but the the guys he's after are of much higher caliber than typical. https://247sports.com/Recruitment/Drew-Fielder-150465/RecruitInterests/
kingpotato
Boise in RJ Jones top 6. I still think he ultimately won't come to Boise, but they're still in it. He'd be the biggest get in Boise history.
4rowsup
We have a knack for getting RJs and Ray Jay's. So maybe our odds are better then we think.
kingpotato
Top 5 for Jordan Ross too. It would be massive if Leon can somehow land both.
kingpotato
RJ Jones making his decision tomorrow. I feel it's gunna be Kansas State, but hoping for the best.
