AAC News. AAC getting rid of divisions.

" That's so cute that you're excited about that... "

That money comes on a matching basis. It will ultimately be $100mil.

You would be excited if your school had $100mil MORE to hire elite profs.

You should quit talking about antitrust (not "anti-trust" lol). It's clear you have no idea what you are talking about and just like to throw fancy words around. You don't have any idea what it is. Anyone who actually does know what it is who reads your posts knows that though.

How does telling the AAC "no championship game with 11 teams" rise to a violation of the Sherman or Clayton Acts? Especially as they are now interpreted, currently.

not playing in a preseason basketball tourney...or limiting tv games...or saying aau exhibition cant be on a d1 campuses  ..again there have a have been TONS of ncaa antitrust lawsuits for less...a lot less..

i know for a fact its has basis for a lawsuit as i have heard lawyers talk about it in a panel about the aac/ncaa, {it was a general sports panel based around basic topics of the ncaa, and someone asked about the aac, ucfs championship, playoff and uconn recent leaving} ..i trust them far more than i trust a bunch of MWC telling me that the aac couldnt raid other g5 conferences in the same breathe

I don't think you have noticed. MWC fans are not obsessed with the AAC or other conferences besides the PAC-12. And thats for obvious reasons. Every AAC thread that gets started here is by BYU fans who are naturally obsessive and can't let the MWC go, or AAC fans who come here and make themselves look like complete tools.

Seems like the only thing the AAC fans do is talk about everyone else while bragging because their penny jar has a few more loose coins. But they're too stupid to realize their bank is still pathetic like the rest of us.

The most popular topic on the AAC board is MWC media negotiations. I find that sad. Just like fake championships and Power 6 chants. Talk to any Power Five AD or President. Talk to any football fan outside of the AAC. YOU guys are considered a joke. A pathetic joke that uses J.V. tatics.

Go back to your shit board and start a conversation about football. See what it's like.

this post clearly proves your point..as you try to paragraphs full of mwc propaganda

also there has been 1 thread about the mwc tv negotiation, it is currently 36 threads down...there are 15 active football threads..the most popular topic right now is the aac has 8 games this week vs top p5 or a top 2 team on a g5 conference...5 of which are expected over 1mill viewers..we have a chance to make a huge statement this week or lose in front of alot of people

the aac is talked about far more here than the mwc is talked about there..when the aac tv was around there were close to 7 active threads at once here...same amount when uconn left...

ive also ive noticed most p5 dont care about the aac or the p6 thing...the conferences that call the p6 a joke are mwc, c-usa and sunbelt fans thats it..have you talked to p5 fans about the aac?? they love it..the moment you bring it up, the instantly put on their commission hat and start "first you gotta to add x team then do y..make this divisions etc. thatll strengthen the p6" they arent threatened by the idea, at best we'll be the 6th worst power conference

In 2016 the AAC was 1 of only 2 conferences to vote NO to change the CCG rule to allow division-less round-robin play for the benefit of the Big 12.

In 2019 the AAC after previously being against a change now wants a CCG rule change or waiver that benefits them?

Why are you trying so hard to shut down conversation of any College Football Conference news, that has implications on the New Year's Bowl?

So it will be Aresco to the other conferences - "I'm sorry we didn't go along with everyone else on the rule change a few years ago. But can we pretty please have our way now?"

I can see the AAC getting a 1 or 2 year waiver due to needing additional time to deal with UConn leaving.

But a longer waiver or rule change will be interesting discussions with the other conferences. I'm not sure how the other conferences will respond.

That couldn't possibly be a result of AAC douchecanoes like yourself spending any free time you're not on some AAC forum over here putting your inferiority complex on full display, could it?

The p6 gag is a joke.  It screams needy and attention whores.  Y'all don't care about the rest of us, and likewise the rest of us don't care what the American does.

Any MWC school competing with the AAC to get a NY Bowl bid?

The bid goes to the highest ranked G5 school.

Exactly and for once, Mike Aresco has come up with something intelligent.

Pitting a G5 conference's two highest rated teams against each other in its title game mitigates the chances of a NY6 bowl bid going up in flames as the result of the third or even fourth highest rated team winning the conference title game.

Besides, the MWC doesn't need divisions and they won't make sense if San Jose drops out nor would they make as much sense if Hawaii also dropped out to go independent.

Boom goes the dynamite.

What if the two highest ranked teams do not have the two best conference records?
