Air Force - Troy Calhoun 87-67 (13th season)  

Boise State - Bryan Harsin 52-15 (6th season)

Colorado State - Mike Bobo 24-27 (5th season)

Fresno State - Jeff Tedford 22-6 (3rd season)

Hawai‘i - Nick Rolovich 18-22 (4th season)

Nevada - Jay Norvell 11-14 (3rd season)

New Mexico - Bob Davie 33-54 (8th season)

A team from the Mountain West has been a participant in the first day of the college football season for the past three years, and that will again be the case in 2019 as Hawai‘i hosts Arizona on Saturday, Aug. 24

Mountain West teams are 109-83 in season openers since the inception of the league in 1999. MW teams are 84-26 at home and 18-45 on the road.

Below is a full breakdown of the Mountain West’s 2019 non conference opponents:
ACC: Florida State, Wake Forest
American: Navy, Tulsa (2)
Big Ten: Minnesota, Northwestern, Purdue
C-USA: Marshall, UTEP
MAC: Toledo
Pac-12: Arizona, Colorado (2), Oregon, Oregon State, UCLA, USC, Washington

The Mountain West has won four consecutive games against an opponent from the PAC-12 (Nevada over Oregon State, Fresno State over UCLA, San Diego State over Arizona State and Fresno State over Arizona State)

The Mountain West has won four consecutive games against an opponent from the American Conference (Boise State over UConn, Hawai‘i over Navy, Fresno State over Houston and Air Force over Navy)

The Mountain West owns the second-best win percentage in bowl games since 2004, behind only the SEC (.563 percent, 45-35 record)

BSU has produced a 1,000-yard rusher in 10 consecutive seasons.

Fresno St & Wyoming enter the 2019 season riding four-game win streaks, tied for the fifth-longest active streak nationally.

BSU's Curtis Weaver has 20.5 career sacks, just two away from tying for fifth all-time in Mountain West history. The league record is 28.5 by Jan Jorgensen (BYU) and Jerry Hughes (TCU)

Wyoming's Logan Wilson enters the season with 316 career tackles, the second-most in the nation among active defenders. Wilson is 80 tackles shy of entering the Mountain West’s top-5

USU's Dominik Eberle has made 122 consecutive PATs, the second-most in Mountain West history. Eberle has not missed a PAT in his collegiate career

Hawaii enters the 2019 campaign with 20 returning starters, tied as the most nationally with Ball State, Indiana, Michigan State and Oregon

The Mountain West has sent at least six teams to the postseason in six consecutive years

The Mountain Division holds an all-time record of 69-45 (.605) against opponents from the West Division since divisional play was established in the Mountain West in 2013

Boise State has amassed 176 wins since the start of the 2003 season, making the Broncos tied with Ohio State as the winningest team at the FBS level during that time

BSU is 94-7 at home since 2003

BSU is 78-26 in road / neutral field games since 2003

Since 1999 Bose St has pitched 13 shutout games for tops amongst MWC schools - No other team is in double figures and CSU brings up the rear with 1 shutout since 1999
