Miscellaneous:  2 years ago I weighed 379 pounds.  I was yuuge.  This morning I weighed 252 pounds.  I had bariatric surgery in December of 2017 and it saved my life.

Favorite Activities:  Basketball pickup games in the mornings at the church, camping with the kids, family bike rides, eating (this should probably be listed first)

On my playlist:  I just hit "random" - lots of Billy Joel, Boston, Bob Segar, Queen, Steve Miller, Eagles, etc.

Married/Kids/Pets:  Married for 19+ years (only one wife), three kids that I know of, no bacteria-carrying pets

Miscellaneous:  Once broke my neck at the 2nd and 6th cervical vertebrae and wrist in 7+ places

University and Degree:  Clark County Community College 1980.........University of Idaho 1984 

Occupation: Construction, building, development related

Teams:  The MWC, with focus on UNLV (been a fan since the 1977 final four team) - VGK........Was big on KC Chiefs & Royals in younger years, but time, distance & both stinking for decades curbed my enthusiasm for KC teams......still having internal debate about the Raiders moving to LV & can I accept them as my new NFL team :idiot:

Interests:  Sports, documentaries, craft beer 

Dislikes:  Too numerous to list

Favorite Activities:  Nothing besides sports

Married/Kids/Pets: Married, 5 dogs 

Miscellaneous: Self employed,.............dieting.............. was 290 pounds, down to 270 pounds - large frame, and at 6-2 height i'm linebacker sized in appearance - generally played basketball & softball - Beer & youthful eating made me gain weight - Was about 185 when I graduated HS, about 200 when I left LV for Idaho, starved myself in 1st year in Moscow not knowing how long the $$ would last dropped to about 170, then knew I had the $$ and found my love of beer in 2nd year at Idaho and graduated at about 230........weight slowly crept up over the years till I peaked at about 290 (thought about a pizza binge just to say i was 300 lbs once, but didn't go for it).......wife has us on weight watchers where a light beer is 5 points but 30 pounds of Swordfish steaks are 0 points, so i'm gaming the system :thumbsup: not going all out but have dropped 20 lbs and not eating as much crap...........still at this weight I am a gazelle, and can tickle the twine from the arc :cheer:

On my playlist: One that Tidal created for me that I listened to on the way home from work today includes Anberlin, The Starting Line, Something Corporate, Angels & Airwaves, and a host of other 90s/00s emo/alt rock bands. It's not all I listen to, but what I listened to today.

Married/Kids/Pets: Divorced and remarried. Three kids, one biological and two step. Golden Retriever puppy and a Sheltie.

Miscellaneous: I once held multiple D1 tennis scholarship offers but decided to get married instead. I've broken the three largest bones in my left leg. Proponent of the Oxford comma. I type text messages in full sentences. I have a diagnosed (and properly treated) mental health disorder, and as a result I've become as much of an advocate for mental health awareness as I can be, including volunteering with a group dedicated to presenting hope to those suffering from hopelessness due to their mental health struggles.
