Honest question, after Fresno State scrapping stadium upgrades.  Will SJSU have spent more money on their football facilities than Fresno State in the next 3-5 years?

You should get your facts straight.  We have 3 years of infrastructure that has to be done first, all payed for by the state. Plus turf being replaced as we speak.

Easy there, Geronimo - I was just asking a question.

1. Fresno State has $40M in infrastructure improvements happening right now.

2. Spartan Stadium construction only has enough money for demo right now. There isn’t enough money to even roll out final blueprints for what will be built. They’re going to destroy it, wall it, and hope the money comes in. They may be getting ready for an FCS drop behind the scenes.

That’s not enough to rebuild it. With Bay Area construction costs, you’ll be lucky to have anything left after demo.

You may be right. That old crap that they're hauling away may contain lead  which will escalate cost drastically especially in the EPA friendly Bay area.

Looking at that picture the coin collector in me thinks that one could find a small trove of silver and other old coins that have fallen through the cracks over the years.

They can try to sugar coat, but, the answer is one raised the money and the other scrapped renovation plans-and Bulldog Stadium is falling apart....
