Seriously, police reform needs to happen right f'ing now

Recommended Posts

And +++++ you if you think there does not need to be police reform because "most are good".  +++++ that, if a cop participates in the blue line culture of LEO, which most do, they are worse than 90% of the criminals they will ever encounter.

Who would want to be a cop anyway? That job sucks.

That is the problem.  The number of cops needs to be reduced by 70% most everywhere in the country and the wages for the rest need to triple.  They should be required to take 2 years of training, 40 hours a week before being issued a badge and then another 2 years riding with an armed officer before given a gun.

In that two years of training they should study psychology with an emphasis on mental health and addiction. De Escealtion instead of control should be the focus.   The police force should be forced to rotate counties in their state every 3 years, randomly, to loosen the influence of the blue line.

The job would still suck. You would need to be a masochist to deal with the dumb shits of society daily.

It would, but society would benefit greatly and the quality of your hiring poole would sky rocket.

Police reform needs to happen.  Prison reform needs to happen.

It never will though because any democrat or republican that advocates for it will gey labled as being soft on crime.

The parents stole from the dollar store and this footages was after 2 attempts to arrest them including a high speed chase. .  Just a couple of details missing from the story.  Lots of force on the part of the cops but as always more details will come out.

What threat did a family of 4 present to those officers you think that justified them pointing a gun at them?

Was Dad going to beat up two officers by himself?  Did he even do anything threatening?

Even if everything is as you say, any regular citizen who did those actions would be in jail for assault and battery.  If the dollar store owner had done those things to protect his property in his parking lot, he would now be in jail for assault and battery.

Why the double standard?   Policing is not a dangerous job.  Fishing, Lumberjacking, Mining are dangerous, Policing is safer than being a grade school teacher.

Another BlewMules instant classic. “Fishing or being a K through 6th grade teacher is more dangerous than being a cop.” 😳😳😂😝🤮😱🤭   🤠👍

Why don’t you go on some ‘ride alongs’ with cops that patrol hardcore LA gang neighborhoods, and get back to us with a report of many times you involuntarily pooped and pissed your pants. You’re too much of a puss to do a ride along. 😳😳😳😱😱🤩🤮😂  *

In my opinion, high speed chase puts public at risk and high likelihood someone gets killed, not to mention his family / kids in the car.  Crazy shit can happen prior to securing a crazy person after high speed chase and while they are still at the wheel.

After years of this estrogen fueled instant outrage, you would think people on this board would withhold judgement a few moments to see what other facts come out.  It is also an indictment of the media for intentionally omitting facts.

Link?  Because that is radically different then the account the family gives.

Is there footage of the chase?

It sounds like the only corroboration of the supposed high speed chase is the word of the officers who were busy pointing guns and screaming at a pregnant woman and her kid, and threatening to put a cap in her fiance.

Of course the story is different.  They may be golddiggers.  AztecMD made the claim.  I withhold judgement for now.

Don't they have dash video?  All I am saying is I will wait and see if more information comes out.

https://ktar.com/story/2615470/phoenix-police-end-silence-over-controversial-doll-shoplifting-case/

I live in Phoenix and heard the high speed chase comment on the radio.

Things you didnt read read in the first story:

adults stole underwear from the store

They left the scene when officer approached the car

there was a passenger in the car with a warrant that they dropped off after evading arrest in the dollar store parking lot

the driver had his license suspended for DUI

The police were aggressive but seems like there’s more to the story as always seems to be the case.

Uhmmm that article says nothing about a high speed chase, calling BS.  In fact it seems to corroborate the family's story.  It states they followed the vehicle into an apartment complex.  Not chased it, followed.  Not attrmpted to pull over, followed.  The family says there were no sirens or lights, the article backs that up.

In other words, there is no evidence released yet that that actually happened. AMD taking the police report for face value. The same police report, where the arresting office claims to make the father "spread his feet", but the video shows him aggressively sweeping his right leg.

The next part is from the linked article. I have to ask, if there was a chase, how was the vehicle able to pull over and drop someone off in the middle of a chase?

" The woman, identified as Renita Biscoe in the incident report, was dropped off before the SUV got to the apartment complex. Police detained her and booked her on three misdemeanor warrants for her arrest. "
