Where my fraternal grandmother was born

Can you please introduce me to your fraternal grandmother? She hawt!

I've never been to Scandinavia but have heard a large percentage of them look pretty passable, at least until they've had a kid.

A lot of it has to do with those places not having enough sunshine to age people prematurely. My fraternal great grandfather was born in Tromso, Norway. Although this time of year the sun is out about 23 hours per day way up there, the ultraviolet rays are so weak it's difficult for even light skinned people to get much of a burn.

Boom goes the dynamite.

What's a "fraternal" grandmother?  Is that like a fraternity house mother?

Oops. PATERNAL grandmother.

SGF makes note to self: Do not post after having consumed multiple beers.

Boom goes the dynamite.

A grandma you like to fraternize with?

Ugh, going to show SGF some mercy here.   In English it is simply "grandmother" or "grandmother on my mothers/fathers side" in general conversation if further clarification gives meaningful context.  If you are looking for a technical term, it would be "maternal/paternal grandmother".

Semantics aside, that is cool SGF.
