Too many recruits?

Recommended Posts

The New Mexico Lobos basketball team just signed another stud guard in 6'3" Kurt-Curry Wegscheinder after losing guard Anthony Mathis, who transferred to Oregon on Monday. The problem is UNM was 2 players above scholarship limits after Mathis had transferred. P5s were known for doing this during football recruiting but the early signing period helped to curb that. I wonder who will be seeing the door in the coming months?

I still think Weir lets Tavian Percy know that transferring would be best for him, and then, imo, Vladimir Pinchuk continues to play on an academic schollie for the 2019/20 season.

We would still be one over.

Pinchuk is not on an academic scholarship.  What I've heard is that one of the incoming freshmen is not going to qualify, and Heddings will be on an Academic Schollie.  Still one over at 14 if this happens.

I hope it's not the big.

Sorry, poorly worded... I didn’t mean he has been playing on an academic schollie, I met he would continue playing here, but he would do so on an academic schollie, freeing up the regular schollie he’s been on, for Weir to give to another player.
