Probably going to hit a couple Thursday. The son of a colleague is playing on one of the teams. One of the few High School kids.

I'm planning on going pending how I feel after my PT session.

The games go quickly with 2-22 minute halves and a running clock and 10 minute half time.  Only hard, pull out bleacher seats so bring a pad or something if that's going to be a problem

I thought he was gone when Chris Acker left Boise to be an assistant coach at SDSU (and they reportedly offered him that week).

Looks like Boise is still in the running and Che expected to make a decision between the two schools.

Some kid named Keith Dinwiddie committed today.  6'2" SG from Fairfax.  We seem to have a lot of guards.

Am I the only one surprised that he turned down Sparty to be an Aztec?

LOL.  I almost wish they would have beaten us. That would at least be a sign that they have a pulse up there.

This will be a topic for a later date as we approach the season but I actually think this 19-20 Sparty team will be their worst since joining the MWC.

Think of it like a pity f*ck because the homely girl was the first one to ask him out.

Anyway, I'm thinking he follows Acker to the Mesa. We'll find out in another couple hours...

Commits to SDSU

I never get too excited about recruits. I reserve judgement until I see them on the court.

He's playing his senior year in Philly. If he lights it up, you think 'Nova just lets him waltz to the west coast?

Would have been bigger for us...would have been top 3 all-time rated recruit for Boise State.

For SDSU, he's borderline top 20 rated recruit in your history.

We add a grad transfer big man, Joshua Tomaic from Maryland.

https://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/sports/aztecs/story/2020-05-07/san-diego-state-sdsu-aztecs-basketball-joshua-tomaic-maryland-grad-transfer-yanni-wetzell

Never heard of the kid until today but looking at the small amount of game action in the embedded video, he looks a little slow-footed but tough to judge.  If he can give us some decent backup minutes for Mensah, he'll help a bunch. If Nathan isn't healthy, we could have trouble.

One more scholarship to give.  A good HS big would be nice.

We add a preferred walk on transfer, 6'10" Cade Alger from Seattle U. He actually looks like he has some potential to develop

Still have one to give.
