Recommended Posts

The MW just put out the National TV schedule.  Wyoming did well this year.  Hopefully they can get healthy and make it worth it.

Gonna be tough to stay interested in bsu once conference play starts. Being forced to play Joser and Reb high the next two years really sucks. SOS gonna be brutal.

The battle for the SEC Mountain should be good this year, especially if USU can keep their momentum going with Anderson.  Wyoming needs to get their O-line healthy though and have a huge step up in QB play to be a factor though.

Spectrum won't be happy with the amount of games being picked up by other networks.

Arizona (CBSSN)

@ Nevada (ESPN-Networks)

@ Boise (ESPN-Networks)

AFA (CBSSN)

Army (CBSSN)

@ Washington (P12N - likely)

Oregon St(P12N - likely)

Gonna squeeze every bit of tv money out of their PPV subs. Only 6 games left to pick from.

They left you the Fresno and SDSU games.  PAC-12 won’t have rights to Oregon State at home

So this is the last season for the current TV contract.

Being on a channel that hardly anybody has or has access to and on too late for the Central and Eastern time zones.

Looking forward to getting better TV network with starting times for the CST population.

You bring up good points. I can’t recall when SDSU had two games in a season since the advent of the cbss contract where the start time was 6 and 6:30 pm PT.  It’s always been 7:30 pm PT. Perhaps they are trying to throw a bone to curry favor in the new contract talks?

Interesting because the Wyoming-CSU game in Laramie on the Friday before Thanksgiving is on ESPN2 with a 7:30pm MST start, which is unusual given that in recent years, these games were slotted for kickoff about an hour later (8:15/7:15pm Mountain/Pacific).

I think you and 307 cowpoke below are noticing a trend that I noticed regarding CSU games not picked up by CBS SN this year. It's like they are trying to finally act reasonable and Curry favor with the mwc. Which is more than welcome, but a little bit too late IMHO. In the past they have hogged up every good CSU game matchup, and tried to almost keep CSU from being seen on ESPN for their home games, at their beautiful new stadium. .hmmm...
