Okay you're right.  Looks like they both "signed" so they are on scholarship. Could they be on partial scholarships and only do graduate school half time or something in the fall?  I think coaches have a lot of tools to shuffle things around to get the numbers right, because it always seems like they are adding guys when there are no spaces left.

There is no such thing as a partial scholarship in Division I football (or basketball).  It's either a full scholarship or a walk-on.  There are partial scholarships in other Division I sports.  The limit for Div I wrestling programs is 9.9 scholarships and there are regularly 30 or more guys on a Div I wrestling team and it's an extremely rare Div I wrestler who is on a full scholarship.  Some of the very best NCAA wrestlers never get a full scholarship.  And partial scholarships in the women's sports programs are also nearly non-existent.  If it is a female sport virtually every athlete is on a full scholarship.   And the exact opposite in the men's sports other than football and basketball.

Another?! late 2020 commit.

His self-proclaimed numbers on twitter - 6'-4, 220, runs a 4.38 forty and 127" broad jump (would have been tied for #1 in 2020 NFL combine for DL).  He's a raw athletic beast. Came to US from Nigeria to play basketball - ended up introduced to football that year and has only 2 seasons under his belt.

He only had FCS offers. I wonder if they greyshirt him and then redshirt him. He could use the experience and looks like he could use some weight, as well.

Could be. Seems super raw. But Harsin did tweet a Go Broncos. Would they do that with a greyshirt?

He did clock an 11.2 in the 100.  So while that 40 time is certainly exaggerated, he is still likely in the high 4.4 to 4.5 range.  That broad jump number is insane, if that is real we have one of the most explosive athletes we have ever had factoring in size.

Nwaoko's story reminded me of Christian Okoye, also from Nigeria, who was at Azusa Pacific university for a couple years before he tried football at age 23.  Five years later he led the NFL in rushing.
